Deliberate mistake: When all the thumbs are at the wall saying "I'm the king of the globe" and "I'm a dentist" you cannot see their legs, so that saved some costume work.
Continuity mistake: In 4th black's move, king's bishop go to third row (A3) and capture the white knight. There is not elipsis yet, but. in 6th black's move, Geri's imaginary opponent takes a piece from A4 to B3 and capture a white pawn. but there wasn't any piece previously on A4, in fact, pawn was not moved before, staying on B2, its original place. In the next shot black bishop remains on A3 and white pawn on B2, as nothing was happened.
Continuity mistake: The snowman hits his nose with a hammer, completely bending it in half. In the next shot it is suddenly magically straight again.
Factual error: The raiding party approaches the French ship in small boats without using muffled oars which was a must to approach silently. Oars were wrapped with cloth to deaden the sound.
Continuity mistake: When we see from Tom's view the fridge he is going to crash into, you can see the cheese is on the second shelf, but when he crashes into the fridge, it has moved to the top shelf.
Continuity mistake: When Porky is lighting the candles on the cake at the beginning of the cartoon, the position of the candles change between shots.
Continuity mistake: When Minnie Mouse falls down on the pillow whilst attempting to skate, the pillow bursts and covers Mickey with feathers. When Mickey goes off skating you can see nothing surrounding the pillow, but when we return to Minnie later on, there are now a lot of feathers around it.
Continuity mistake: When Butch is chasing Tom, Tom puts a flowerpot on a swing which crashes into Butch and it leaves earth on the floor. But when Butch uses a guitar to spank Tom when he comes down on the swing, the earth has completely disappeared.
Continuity mistake: After Bugs Bunny has snipped off Elmer Fudd's pants suspender buttons, you can see Elmer's gun is directly behind him. But when Elmer picks up his gun to try and shoot Bugs, the gun is now by his foot.
Other mistake: In the opening titles, Irven Spence's first name is incorrectly credited as Irvin.
Continuity mistake: When Bugs is at the theatre, you can see he a man sitting next to him when he finds his binoculars, but when Bugs sees Elmer in front of him, we cut back to Bugs and the man next to him has disappeared.
Continuity mistake: During the slow-motion sequence, Speedy slams the mallet on the cat's paw and leaves the mallet on the ground when he rescues the mouse. When he puts a stick of dynamite on the cat's tongue, the mallet has gone.
Continuity mistake: As Lulu is racing up to the school, you see the brick base of the school house and that the bricks are a dark red color. It then cuts to a closer angle as she is about to pull her fishing pole out of the steps and suddenly the bricks are now a light grey. Also in the same shots, you see first that the tree's shadow is lay across the walkway in front of the steps. But in the close up the shadow is nowhere to be seen. (00:01:55)
Continuity mistake: When Sylvester's owner tells him that she will get into the hotel, you can see that she is wearing a brooch on her shirt. But when she is carrying Sylvester around her neck in the next shot, the brooch has vanished.
Audio problem: As the short starts, a hand is drawing several animals with musical instruments to be in the orchestra. And during this there is a music score with the animation. The second one is a pig with a tuba. As the left hand reaches in to pull the picture of the pig away, there is a glitch in the music, it cutting out for a moment with a rough scratchy pop sound, then coming back in as the right hand begins drawing a bird with a violin. Continuity mistake: When the announcer tells Droopy and the wolf about the prize they can have if they win the bullfight, there is a red wall behind the announcer that keeps disappearing and re-appearing between shots.
Continuity mistake: Before Mickey takes the bucket and leans out of the window to get some water, the lid of the coffee pot is closed. But after he has collected some water, the lid of the pot is now open.
Continuity mistake: When Tom traps Jerry in the blinds, he pulls the cord and squashes Jerry. At this point, you can see Tom is holding the cord, but when we Jerry sliding down the blinds in the next shot, Tom is no longer holding the cord.
Continuity mistake: When Poochini is rehearsing, Mysto the Magician knocks on the door of his dressing room. At this point, you can see that the handle is on the left hand side of the door, but when Poochini opens the door, he opens it from the right hand side.
Continuity mistake: When Daffy enters Bugs' living room wearing a rabbit costume, you can see the door is plain green. But when Elmer Fudd enters to confront Daffy, the door is now divided into three sections.
