Plot hole: When Rudy removes the leg of the bed to escape from the motel room, he finds Charlize Theron and Gary Sinise in the pool. He walks away saying something to the effect of "I am out of here." As he trys to escape, he keeps running into the other members of the gang and has to rush back and pretend he is still handcuffed to the bed when they check on him. If he is already free of the bed, why doesn't he leave after the gang goes to sleep for the night?

Freeway picture

Plot hole: It is highly unlikely that something as unusual and noticeable as a long severed ponytail would have been overlooked at the crime scene where Bob was shot when it was originally combed for evidence. Especially after Vanessa told the police he'd done it; they would have looked for it as evidence.

Runaway picture

Plot hole: Considering Luther is responsible for the death of 6+ people and 2 cops, there is no way there would not have been a small army of cops including 2 or more snipers covering the restaurant stakeout. There is no way he could have murdered Jackie and then just run off into the bushes.

Shooter picture

Plot hole: When Agent Memphis is about to be executed they ask him if he needs to "Piss" so as to not have government-used drugs in his system before he commits suicide. They even mention writing a suicide note for him. He's had seven shades beaten out of him though and was kidnapped whilst on the phone, mid-conversation and with possible witnesses. Surely if it wasn't the first time they had done this then they would have taken more care to make sure it wasn't a complete fake-out.

Assault on Precinct 13 picture

Plot hole: In the final scene where they all leave along the passage; the father rolled out on a stretcher and the others casually walking out, you can tell by their smooth passage along the corridor that all the dead bodies have been removed, but this would have taken at least half an hour if not longer, so it would make no sense in reality for them all to wait for all the bodies to be removed before they left as they would have been the first to leave due to the traumatic experience they had just been through.

Point Blank picture

Plot hole: At the beginning of the movie, Reese (and Walker) rob from a "drop" at Alcatraz. Reese uses that money to pay off "The Organization." At the end of the movie Brewster tells Walker the only place to get cash is at the drop. "The drop is the same but the location has changed." Brewster receives the money at the drop. This makes it clear the original drop was stealing from "The Organization." Why would Reese be able to pay off "The Organization" by stealing their own money from them?

Suggested correction: The money that the homeless spent is not that significant. He can make up that amount by himself.

Along Came a Spider picture

Plot hole: The kids in Soneji's class use an encrypted GIF algorithm to pass notes to each other and that "drives the teachers crazy", since they are unable to catch cheaters that way. But how do they do that? Easy, they have a message system in place installed on their workstations, that warns them with a big pop-up that they've got "A new message"! It would be easy to sanction and prevent the cheating by simply removing the chat application, no matter if they use it to chat directly or pass Michael Jordan photos as shown in the movie, which they have no business doing during an assignment anyway.

Plot hole: Gideon speaks to Jill about her fingerprints being all over the bear trap. When he does he says that there is a new game going on, referring to Bobby's game. However, the police are unaware of this game at this point. He can't be referring to the garage trap as he says that the game is going on, and the garage trap has already happened. (00:35:00)

Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery picture

Plot hole: Benoit Blanc ruins on purpose the murder dinner party because, allegedly, someone is really trying to kill Miles, and he wants to warn him that it's not a game. But as we know later, Blanc is actually trying to investigate the murder of Andi Brand and he does not really think that Miles Bron is in danger. In fact he is positively convinced that everyone has motives to kill in order to protect Miles and all he wants to be on the island for is to gather clues and investigate. Cutting the game short does not serve his purpose at all, in fact it defeats it. Had he played along, both Helen and him would have had a perfect excuse to investigate. In fact it is a miracle that nobody went back to their rooms right away after that tense moment, instead of being busy with the opening investigation; you even see that they are groaning and complaining and want to leave. The movie explains away most of the other details but none about this.

Suggested correction: Blanc knew he couldn't hide Helen's identity for long. He said so at 1:15:15. His fear was justified when Duke discovered Helen's identity on the night of her arrival. In short, Blanc and Helen were on a clock.

FleetCommand

Regardless of how little time they had left (Blanc estimated "another week", so the leak happens presumably earlier than he anticipated), ruining the dinner does not serve the purpose; gives "Andi" less time to search the rooms, which is what Blanc planned her to do.

Sammo

If the game was allowed to proceed, Helen would have been forced to play along. Any behavior, other than playing along, would have been suspicious.

Miss Congeniality picture

Plot hole: Just before playing the water glasses, Gracie plays a couple notes, one of which is very high. She drinks some water out of the glass to lower the pitch. The problem is that the pitch goes up when you remove water from the glass, not down. Drinking out of the glass would've made the note sound higher. Some people and websites will make you believe that the pitch is going down due to an increase in the size of the resonant chamber but singing glasses have nothing to do with cavity resonance. Glass singing is caused by the molecules in the glass vibrating in resonance with each other. More water dampens the motion, slowing it down and lowering the pitch. Some of the confusion comes from schools not teaching children that liquids and gasses are both fluids. In the case of water in glasses, the water is not changing the cavity as much as one thinks, just damping it. And finally, if you don't believe me, don't Google it, try it.

Plot hole: At the beginning, Bill or his henchman are seen watching the family in the house, which they would have course be doing always. If that is so, then why do they not know about the toy car remote that screws up the video signal in the house?

Passenger 57 picture

Plot hole: When Rane and the other terrorists come out the bottom of the plane and start walking towards the fairgrounds, it is amazing how not one police officer or staff member of the airport notices that they came out from under the plane, or that they don't seem to be walking off the plane like the other passengers.

Starsky & Hutch picture

Plot hole: Starsky & Hutch go to apprehend the driver of the car that was shooting at them, the Korean man. They go in and his son starts throwing knives at them. They then ask the man to tell his son to stop throwing knives. The man shouts out to his son to throw ALL the knives. The son throws all the knives, and then Starsky & Hutch dive for cover - after he starts throwing knives again. Yet, when they are interrogating the Korean man, Chow, in the lock-up in the next scene, Hutch reveals that he is able to speak quite a bit of Korean - and proceeds to converse with Chow in Korean quite a bit. Obviously he knew this Korean when they were apprehending the man and he could have told the boy to STOP - or at least understood that the father told him to keep throwing. The way this is presented, and the level of Korean he exhibits in the subsequent scene is completely illogical.

Batman & Mr. Freeze: SubZero picture

Plot hole: Batman finds at Belson's home a handwritten list of substances needed for a transplant. Why would Belson, a medical authority in the field that knows those things thoroughly, even write a list down? If it's for Freeze to procure him the material, why would it be at his house and not with him, and when did he even have time to be at home to do that, since he has been kidnapped by Freeze when he was driving on the outskirts of Gotham and taken to the oil rig? If he had time to go home, he at least would have changed clothes, he's still in the tuxedo he wore when he was kidnapped the night before.
