Assault on Precinct 13

Plot hole: In the final scene where they all leave along the passage; the father rolled out on a stretcher and the others casually walking out, you can tell by their smooth passage along the corridor that all the dead bodies have been removed, but this would have taken at least half an hour if not longer, so it would make no sense in reality for them all to wait for all the bodies to be removed before they left as they would have been the first to leave due to the traumatic experience they had just been through.

Other mistake: Although the Lieutenant is actually sent to the police station in precinct 9, division 13, the sign over the door states it to be division 14.

Napoleon Wilson: In my situation, days are like women - each one's so damn precious, but they all end up leaving you.

Trivia: The assault takes place on Precinct 9, Division 13. There is no "Precinct 13" in the film. At first John Carpenter wanted to call the film "The Anderson Alamo" (the original title of his screenplay), and at one point he changed the working title to "The Siege." CKK, the film's distributor, was responsible for the misnomer; it rejected Carpenter's titles and came up with the name "Assault on Precinct 13" (which it felt was more ominous sounding) during post-production.
