The Curious Case of Benjamin Button

Benjamin, who is physically a baby but is mentally an old man, dies in the year 2003. Daisy (Cate Blanchett) dies two years later in a hospital; her last words are "Good night, Benjamin" and a hummingbird appears outside the window. Hurricane Katrina hits New Orleans. Scenes are shown of some of the people that Benjamin met throughout his life: Queenie, the woman who taught him to play the piano, his father Thomas, Daisy, Captain Mike, etc. Benjamin (Brad Pitt) narrates that some people are born to do different things: to be mothers, know Shakespeare, to dance, know about music, etc. The last scene shows a storage room starting to flood and in the room is the old clock that runs backwards (made by Gateau at the beginning of the film). The camera moves closer to the clock and its shown that it still works...

Factual error: When Benjamin comes back to visit Daisy at her dance studio, she says that their daughter is 12. Her first birthday was in 1969, so that makes the current year 1981 or 1982, but their family car is a 1986 Jeep Wagoneer.

Question: The old man remarks that he was struck by lightning seven times. I recall him talking about six different times, does he ever talk about the seventh? Also, when were the times that he was struck?

Answer: Here are the "strikes": fixing a leaky roof, while checking the mail, milking the cow, driving his car, minding his own business in a field, taking a dog for a walk, and then at the end there was no "story", but he was by a fence (just before the credits). I believe these are correct.
