Correction: Part of the house is lit up but we have no way to know if it's the living area and most of it is in darkness. Phoebe climbs through a window in the unlit part.

Correction: There's no mistake here. Just after the fireman leaves Phoebe walks behind the sofa towards the counter and is out of shot for easily enough time to order coffee. When we see her again, Gunther is in the background preparing coffee as requested.

Correction: I've watched this scene carefully and the mistake is wrong. We very clearly see Phoebe turn the photo to show her mother.

Correction: He has put them on the floor between his feet, after all there is nowhere else to put them. There is no reason why he would step on them since he knows they are there. We can't see them because we never see a shot of the floor.

The One With The Flashback - S3-E6

Corrected entry: This episode takes place one year before the pilot (Rachel was supposed to get married in one year in the flashback and the pilot started on the day of her wedding). But in this episode, Ross finds out that Carol is a lesbian. However, not until the 2nd or 3rd episode does he find out she's pregnant. For this to make sense, either she had a really long pregnancy or else they continued sleeping together for a year after she came out (not likely).

Correction: In a later episode ("The One With The Boob Job" I believe) Ross mentions that he and Carol slept together after she had come out of the closet. That's probably when Ben was conceived.

Correction: No because the number change was never acknowledged within the series. Monica and Rachel never moved apartments and the change of number has been explained elsewhere.

The One With The Giant Poking Device - S3-E8

Corrected entry: In this episode Monica and Rachel babysit for Ben, and Monica accidentally bumps his head on a beam/pole separating the kitchen and the living room. However, as far as I can recall, we never see this beam/pole prior to or after this particular episode. (I'm referring to the one in the middle of the room, not the one against the wall).

Correction: This pole is seen in many other episodes but most of the camera shots look into the living room so it's not easy to see. You can see it in some of the shots when people are coming into the apartment.

Correction: True, although given the "old Rachel" wasn't good enough friends with Monica to invite her to the wedding, it seems unlikely she'd have given Ross much thought, and even less likely she'd recognise a friend of his she met twice, very briefly, many years earlier.

The One Where No One's Ready - S3-E2

Corrected entry: Chandler claims that he steals Joeys underwear BECAUSE Joey stole his "essence" however, the only time Chandler goes into his apartment is to get changed, which is before Joey steals the "essence" of the chair, thus Chandler would have had to steal Joey's underwear before Joey takes the chair cushions, not because of it.

Correction: But Joey annoyed him by stealing the chair in the first place, so he was probably just being petty.

The One With The Flashback - S3-E6

Corrected entry: In the flashback episode, Chandler and Monica are in the bar (which is soon to become Central Perk) and Rachel is in the same bar with her friends before she is due to marry Barry. When Chandler overhears Rachel - a complete stranger - say she wants one last fling, he tries to flirt with her, but she dismisses him. Monica then says "I know her" and talks to Rachel briefly with Chandler present. In fact, as revealed in later episodes, Chandler and Rachel knew each other when he was in college with Ross and Rachel was in high school with Monica - in fact they even made out at a college party.

Correction: Then the mistake is in subsequent episodes, not this one. In any case, Chandler simply didn't recognize Rachel.

JC Fernandez

Or since Rachel was drunk at the college party, she has very vague memories and doesn't remember that night very well.

Rachel and Chandler had previously met several times before the college party and she was sober. Chandler was at the two consecutive Thanksgiving dinners at the Geller house when both Rachel and Monica were in high school. Rachel gave Monica hints on how to get back at Chandler for having called Monica "fat" the previous year. Rachel and Chandler should have remembered this.

The One At The Beach - S3-E25

Corrected entry: When Phoebe finds out that Phoebe at the beach is her birth mom, Phoebes twin Ursula never gets mentioned, not once. Since her birth mom hasn't seen either of them since they were born I would have thought she'd give some thought to her other daughter.

Correction: Throughout the episode we only see a couple of minutes of interaction between the Phoebes. Ursula could have been mentioned off camera.

The One With The Flashback - S3-E6

Corrected entry: Just before Monica invites Joey in for lemonade, she says,"It's the heat. And the humidity." When she says this, if you look between the doorframe and the edge of the door, there is a crew member behind the door moving around. (00:11:00)

Correction: They live in a building with several apartments. The person in the hallway could have been another resident, a visitor to someone living there, a janitor or any number of people with a legitimate reason to wander around inside the building.

The One With The Dirty Girl - S4-E6

Question: When Joey asks why he can't give Kathy the pen, Chandler says, "Because she's not eleven. And it's not the seventh night of Chanukah." What is Chandler talking about when he says, "It's not the seventh night of Chanukah?"

Answer: Usually by the seventh night of Hanukkah you don't know what to get the other person, and you will probably resort to getting the other person something insignificant. Chandler is basically saying that the pen is a stupid gift.

Answer: Chanukah is a Jewish celebration that occurs around the same time as the Christian Christmas. The celebration lasts for eight days and it is customary to give a small gift on each of the eight days. There is no special gift required and the line about it being "the seventh night" of Chanukah is just Chandler's sarcasm.
