Other mistake: Monica and Chandler's wedding is May 2001 (we are given the dates by the characters on the show, so it doesn't matter when the show aired.) And Rachel reveals at the wedding that she is pregnant, so that means she got pregnant in April or so of 2001. "The One With The Rumor" aired and is set to take place at Thanksgiving 2001, during which time Rachel should be 7 months pregnant. But her stomach's flat as a pancake. (00:01:15)

Continuity mistake: After Will has arrived and Chandler says, "I'm watching the game but I'm not deaf," you can see Will in the background with his hands on his hips. When the camera switches to just Will and Monica, Will suddenly has two wine glasses in his hands. (00:06:20)

Continuity mistake: In The One With Monica's Boots, Monica is removing her trainers and replacing them with her boots so it looks as if she was wearing her boots all along. In one shot her left jean leg is tucked into her boots, but when she stands up it is sitting perfectly. (00:07:25)

Continuity mistake: When Joey walks back into the apartment (with his eyes covered) to get the sandwich, he walks by the Fussball-table, and there's nothing on it. Continuity mistake: It's obviously December, with the set decorations and Rachel's reference to sitting on multiple Santas' laps because she is randy from her pregnancy hormones. The characters establish that it's Rachel's fourth month of pregnancy...but she became pregnant about six weeks before Monica and Chandler's May 15 wedding. Her fourth month would have been in July, not December.

Other mistake: In the opening scene when Rachel says "I went from store to store sitting on Santa laps" the camera is out of focus.
The One Where Joey Dates Rachel - S8-E12
Continuity mistake: When Ross arrives at the classroom late and out of breath, he tosses his jacket at the hook, but it falls to the floor, and he walks behind the desk anyway. In the next wideshot of the class, as Ross still stands behind the desk, the coat is up on the hook. (Viewed on broadcast TV as a rerun, so there may be a missing shot that was removed for extra commercial time.). (00:07:05)
The One Where Joey Dates Rachel - S8-E12
Visible crew/equipment: As Ross enters the classroom for his second lesson, he bursts in and for roughly five seconds, a boom mic is visible hovering overhead near the door. (00:10:15)
Answer: Usually by the seventh night of Hanukkah you don't know what to get the other person, and you will probably resort to getting the other person something insignificant. Chandler is basically saying that the pen is a stupid gift.
