Star Trek (2009)

Continuity mistake: When Kirk is sneaking about on the Romulan ship, just after Spock takes off in the ship, we see a shot of him walking down a dark corridor, carrying what is very clearly a Romulan pistol (quite long and thin). When the shot changes, he suddenly has his standard Federation Phaser in his hand when he confronts Nero. He doesn't get a Romulan pistol like that until after the fight with the first officer, when his phaser falls over the edge. (01:42:55)

Unending - S10-E20

Trivia: Just after Thor beams aboard, Vala asks Daniel how he can always tell one Asgard from another, given that they all look the same. He replies, 'it's the voice'. This is a subtle nod to the fact that Michael Shanks, who plays Daniel on the show, also provides the voice for the Asgard characters, Thor, Aegir, and Penegal.

The Skull in the Desert - S1-E17

Continuity mistake: During the scene when Booth and Bones are driving to tell Angela that her boyfriend is dead, the scenery behind Booth jumps suddenly mid shot. Initially the scene is of a wide plain, then suddenly a mountain range appears. This scene was obviously shot on a sound stage, with the scenic background being projected onto screens around the vehicle, an old trick in movie making. It seems that somebody mistimed the loop of the tape they were using. (00:12:30)

The Shroud - S10-E14

Continuity mistake: During the scene where Jack is talking to Daniel aboard the Odyssey, there is only 1 star on each of his shirt collars, indicating that he is a Brigadier General, instead of the proper two stars for a Major General, as he does in every other scene of the episode.

Blade: Trinity (2004)

Trivia: The whole vampire final solution plot line, with the humans in the big vacuum bags being harvested for their blood is actually an unused sub plot from Blade 1. In Blade 1, the vampire Frost was originally to merge with a Blood Tide and wipe out all humans on the planet. He had planned on the storage idea to maintain a food source for the vampire race once this was completed. This plotline was shown to test audiences who hated the ending (with Frost merging into a giant tornado of blood once the ceremony was completed). According to the directors commentary on the deleted scene on the DVD, the creators had to come up with a new ending and they chose the big sword match. They then dropped the humans as blood cows thing as it was no longer needed for the story. It was then resurrected, almost picture perfectly (based on the story boards for Blade 1 - again on the DVD) for this movie.

A Day Out - S1-E4

Revealing mistake: When Fletcher and Godper are assigned to the work party and they get locked into the church, one of the prisoners, Melvin (the hippy) leans against one of the 'stone' pillars of the church, causing it to wobble.

Continuity mistake: In the opening sequence, during the missile drill in dry dock (the one that fails) we see one of the engineers open the missile tube to examine the missile. By this point, the exterior hatch has been opened, and daylight is quite visible within the tube, yet moments later Liam Neeson's character climbs out onto the conning tower revealing that its night time outside the submarine.

The Da Vinci Code (2006)

Continuity mistake: When Teabing rolls the Cryptex to Langdon near the end of the movie, in one shot we see that the Cryptex rolls to a stop about 6 inches from Langdon's knee, but when the shot changes to an overhead view we see the Cryptex is now suddenly at least 2 feet from Langdon. Then the shot changes again and its now more like a foot from him.

White Chicks (2004)

Revealing mistake: When one of the 'Wilson' sisters leaves with Latrell for their date (after he starts singing to her), the car they get into is supposed to be valet delivered just before they step into it, yet when it pulls away there is a visible dry spot on the road beneath it. Clearly the car had been parked on that spot for long enough that the heat from the engine dried the wet pavement underneath it, which would take far longer than the length of one song.

Mother Nature's Son - S7-E10

Other mistake: After Del-boy is finished filling the first set of water bottles with the hose, he moves the rig and sets up some new ones. Now, when he pours, the water doesn't go into the bottles, but rather pours over the side. Despite this, Del continues working as though everything is fine. (00:43:45)
