Corrected entry: In the final act, when the T1000 falls into the molten steel, he sinks and thrashes around rather like a human in water. However, molten steel has a density of around 8 g/cc - about 10 times that of a human, which means T-1000 must weigh about 1600 lb / 700 kg, and is therefore too heavy to do many things we've seen: ride a Kawasaki KZ1000P (up a flight of stairs) without collapsing the frame and blowing out the tires; be dragged by hooks in the lid of a car trunk without peeling the lid like a can opener or ripping off the trunk lid; jump onto the back of a car without collapsing its suspension; operate a helicopter in level flight from either pilot's seat. If he's light enough to do those things he'd basically sit on the surface of the molten steel and fry. Either way there's a mistake somewhere... (02:22:15)

Correction: You're confusing weight with density. If a denser metal (such as mercury) was put into molten steel, it would sink, no matter how much it weighed. Mass (a better term to describe weight) equals density * volume. However, we don't know how much (the volume) of the futuristic, unknown metal was used to create the T-1000, or what its density is so we don't know how much the T-1000 weighs, but we know he's denser than steel.

2012 (2009)

Corrected entry: After the survivors escape from Las Vegas in the Antonov they are obviously worried about fuel and making it all the way to China. As any fool knows, lightening a plane increases range and yet, oddly, it never seems to occur to them to ditch all the heavy and now useless automobiles into the ocean. Luckily, the cars come in handy to manufacture an exciting exit from the plane at the end of the flight.

Oscar Bravo

Correction: For the first leg of the trip there is no reason for them to ditch the cars, as they fully expect to be able to land and refuel in Hawaii. After they realize Hawaii is gone, there is no point in ditching the cars as they are going to be short by "thousands of miles", and lightening the plane would make no difference.

The Antonov was still well under its maximum payload with all the cars on board. It could have made it to Hawaii and beyond, assuming there's time planned to refuel in Vegas. Seems like they took off with whatever was on board, and that was just enough to get to Hawaii.

Road To Perdition (2002)

Corrected entry: After his wife and son are murdered, Sullivan drives overnight to Chicago. He then goes straight to see Frank Nitti. How then did John and Connor Rooney get to Chicago in time to eavesdrop in the next room? They must've passed Sullivan on the road.

Oscar Bravo

Correction: It is entirely possible that Connor had anticipated Sullivan's trip to Chicago. Additionally, there is more than one route to Chicago and Connor may have known a shortcut or simply traveled faster than Sullivan, like Connor may have chosen a mode of transportation that was faster than Sullivan, for example, a train.

Correction: It took time to stop and look for Conner before he left for Chicago. He finds Mr Kelly instead, who offers him 25K to leave and go to Ireland. Mike shoots him in the face as a message to Mr Rooney.

About a Boy (2002)

Corrected entry: Much is made of the fact that the story is set in the run-up to Christmas. However, this movie was filmed in the height of summer. For example, Marcus turns up at Will's flat "after school" and is shown in bright sunlight with a short, noon-day shadow. School's out at about 4.30pm in the UK, by which time it is nearly dark in November/December in London. Also, in every street scene, the London office workers are swanning around in shirt-sleeves. Rather unlikely for a London winter.

Oscar Bravo

Correction: Most secondary schools in the UK finish lessons at about 3:30. Some fee-paying schools finish later, but only about 4:00. Will's house is obviously quite close to Marcus' school, from the fact that Marcus has the energy to run there and bullies can be bothered to chase him; so even if Marcus doesn't finish until 4:00pm, he would still make it there before it is dark. Additionally, the film takes place in late autumn.
