The Nightmare After Krustmas - S28-E10
Continuity mistake: While Krusty is in the hospital talking to Sophie, he pops the IV line from his arm so the tubing hangs down from the fluid bag. But when Krusty tells Sophie that he knows she's reaching out, suddenly Krusty's IV line is properly inserted in the cannula again, only to change back to the tubing hanging down. Also, the white pillow propping up Krusty's foot vanishes and reappears during these shots. (00:05:15)

Continuity mistake: When Homer moves Maggie's crib closer to the gnome, the wall outlet under the light switch has nothing plugged in, but in the next shot as Homer exits the bedroom, a nightlight is suddenly plugged in. (00:10:20)

Visible crew/equipment: While Shannon is driving the tour bus, there's a long shot of the bus speeding down the hill, and in the next exterior closeup facing the windshield, we can see the reflection of the camera. (00:26:40)

Revealing mistake: While Suit is in a coma, there's a closeup of the monitor beside his bed showing Suit's vitals, and at the top of the monitor's screen are the words "adult simulating," with the timed "simulating" flashing off and on. There's also a strip of narrow filament tape covering "simulating," but the tape is transparent, so we can still see it flashing. (01:17:25)

Continuity mistake: After Oliver Muzzy congratulates Joker for his magnificent artwork and makes a deal with him, before Joker leaves the gallery he runs his finger across Batman's yellow emblem to sign his red artwork, but at GCPD HQ when they're discussing the matter, Joker's signature is completely different, it's now a capital "J" on Batman's yellow emblem. Continuity mistake: In Alex's government class, the professor wrote "Free Speech" on the chalkboard. In a few of the following shots the handwriting differs, and in some shots the phrase is underlined, but in other shots, it is not underlined. (00:05:00)

Visible crew/equipment: When Otis tries to escape from Aunt Bee's clutches by hiding in the laundry service van, just as Aunt Bee has the driver open the van's back doors we can see the reflection of the moving boom mic in the left window.

Continuity mistake: When Kate goes to see the LARPers at the park to track down the trick arrows, her cross-body leather strap changes direction repeatedly. At first, it hangs from Kate's right shoulder to her left hip, but when Kate asks about the cop in their group, the strap hangs from her left shoulder. Then the leather strap reverts to the original way, only to switch yet again after the fist bump. None of the shots are flipped. (00:20:10)

Visible crew/equipment: While Dorothy and the other characters are cornered in the Wicked Witch's castle, when Dorothy grabs the bucket of water and tosses it at Scarecrow's arm, the water hits the Witch. In the closeup of the Witch's face, you can see a crew member's hand (a long sleeve can be seen at the wrist) in the upper left side of the shot. (01:26:20)

Visible crew/equipment: When Annie goes into the shop to ask where Camp Crystal Lake is, you can clearly see the reflection of a boom mic in the window, above the head of the cleaner. (00:07:40)

Continuity mistake: When Professor Marvel guesses why Dorothy is running away, she's holding her suitcase with the lid facing Marvel. But in Toto's closeup, as he snatches the hotdog from Marvel's long grill fork, the suitcase is turned the opposite way with its lid facing Dorothy. Then it changes back, so the suitcase lid faces Marvel again. (00:12:10)

Revealing mistake: During some scenes, straw-stuffed Scarecrow's pant legs and his boots would sometimes have a gap that reveals the skin of Ray Bolger's leg. Two examples are, at Emerald City when Scarecrow places Lion's "cape" on him, and also when Dorothy and her friends are told the Wizard says to go away. (01:05:50 - 01:07:25)

Continuity mistake: After Zeke rescues Dorothy from the crowded pig pen, Hickory wipes his face and neck with the rag in his right hand, but then it cuts to another angle, and the rag is suddenly in his left hand. (00:04:20)

Continuity mistake: When Dorothy slaps Lion on the nose for chasing Toto and shouts, "Shame on you!" in the wide shot, we see Dorothy's right arm with no mark on her skin. It then cuts to the medium shots, and there's an inexplicable long, thin blue mark (it's not a loose thread) on Dorothy's arm near her elbow, while she's holding Toto. This blue mark vanishes in the wide shot when she puts Toto down, and Lion begins to sing. (00:50:25)
