Revealing mistake: In the scene where they're tumbling down the hill, Buttercup has a beard.

Revealing mistake: In the scene where the group finds out that Jasper has betrayed them and then Bishop uses the flash-bang, the group splits up, and Iris and Capra get into an SUV. Very shortly later, when it goes out of control and crashes, you can see a stunt driver in the SUV wearing blue elbow pads and holding onto the roof, before the SUV hits the ground. (Slo-mo may be necessary.) (01:31:55)

Other mistake: During the film Ethan Hawke's pills are talked about between him and his evaluator. When you finally see him open his pill container, it is clear that the pills are actually Ice Breakers breath mints. You can see the trademarked "Flavor Crystals" (the dark blue spots on the white mint). (01:20:25)

Continuity mistake: In the church scene Bishop is working on a crossword puzzle. He looks up from it to talk to the cop and when he looks back down at it there are a lot more blanks filled in, especially in the upper right corner. (00:10:20 - 00:11:10)

Continuity mistake: The "No Shoplifting" sign is gone when Randal sells cigarettes to the girl. (00:34:15)

Continuity mistake: After Brodie sees Rene and the man from Fashionable Male together, while he is sitting at the food court, in a wide shot of him leaving the table Silent Bob has his leg up on the table, yet in the previous closeup he didn't. (00:30:45)

Continuity mistake: When Silent Bob crashes through the changing room Gwen is in, the goggles he's wearing go from being down on his chin, to being up over his nose between a wideshot and closeup. (00:28:55)

Continuity mistake: When Brodie and T.S are arrested, Brodie shouts to Rene "Get Jay and Silent Bob, hurry!" and Rene is standing in a shop, by a stand with trainers on it. But in the next closeup of Rene she has moved much further away from the stand of trainers. (00:50:10)

Continuity mistake: Mr. Svenning's junior college class ring mysteriously jumps from his left hand to his right hand just in time to get stink-palmed by Brodie.

Continuity mistake: When Jeremy London and Jason Lee come back from the Dirt Mall, they park with a green saloon to their right. Then when they get out of the car, the saloon has been replaced by a black truck. (01:01:55)

Visible crew/equipment: When Silent Bob is flying along on the toy train, as he flies through the clothes shop, you can see a crewmembers hand, clear as day, throwing clothes to make it seem as if they are flying upwards. (00:23:10)

Hamster ★

Continuity mistake: In the final scene where Roxie and Velma are dancing in the concert hall, Roxie is on the right and Velma is on the left. They then turn around, and from behind (same point of view as before) they're suddenly the other way around. (01:44:20)

Revealing mistake: When Holden is driving his Ford explorer, the speedometer reads that he's going 0 mph. (00:50:35)

Continuity mistake: At the end, when the fan at the convention gives the last issue of Bluntman And Chronic to Banky to sign, Banky looks through the book with his pen in his left hand. It cuts away, and then back again, and the pen is in his right hand. (01:44:20)

Continuity mistake: When Craig talks to Maxine in the little pantry on the 7 1/2th floor the way he holds his cup of coffee (both hands around the cup or one hand at the edge of the counter) changes several times. (00:16:10)

Continuity mistake: Look carefully when they transport to the Mexican Restaurant. Her night dress is unbuttoned at the top but mysteriously closes in a matter of seconds.

Continuity mistake: When Westley and Buttercup are walking through the Fire Swamp Westley's hair continually gets better or changes. One scene it is slicked back and another it is in his face or over to one side, etc.

Other mistake: When Westley and Buttercup are in the fire swamp and Buttercup is burned for the first time look carefully at the fire spurt, it's several feet away from Buttercup and is clearly too far away to have burned her.

Continuity mistake: Watch the red car behind Fred Savage in the bedroom. In close shots, the car is pointing towards the camera. In wide shots it's pointing sideways.

Continuity mistake: There is a scene where Westley is matching wits with Vizzini. In every shot of Vizzini and Buttercup, her hair changes. In one shot, half of it is over her shoulder; in the next shot it is all down her back. This happens all through the scene.
