Trivia: At one point in the film Jill Valentine asks her teammates whether they would rather be eaten by a giant snake or a shark. This is a reference to the original Resident Evil video game were the player has to battle a giant snake called Yawn and a mutated shark called Neptune. Neither of these creatures made it into the film.

Trivia: Easter Egg: Go to any story mission on any difficulty and intentionally die. This will take you to the "Game Over" screen, wait here and don't touch anything. After 2-3 minutes you will start to hear strange garbled sounds, after 7 minutes or so you will hear a woman's voice say "Is that too loud?" and from this point onwards there is no sound at all until you leave the screen, at which everything returns to normal.

The Fog (1980)

Trivia: When Father Malone discovers the journal, at the beginning of the movie, he opens it to a full page of text. We only see it very briefly but if you pause the film it appears to be some sort of joke. Here's a couple of extracts I could make out: "writing dumb shit in this fucking movie.." "...big tits, tatoos (sic)..." (00:06:41)

Trivia: At the end of the film, when we see the TV news report on the transportation of the T-Rex, if you look very closely at the TV screen you can see a reflection of Steven Spielberg sat on the couch seemingly next to Jeff Goldblum and Julianne Moore watching the CNN report. It's an intentional cameo, albeit a highly obscure one. (01:59:52)
