Corrected entry: The Indian version of Who Wants to be a Millionaire, like its original British counterpart, require contestants to pass a "Fastest Fingers First" round before getting onto the "Hotseat", not starting with the host walking the contestant out (unless the game is continued, which when Jamal first appears, it is not).

Correction: As you can see by all the other contestants sitting around the edge of the circle, you have got the "fastest fingers" there, so the likelihood is that we start to watch as Jamal is being led in after he has won the "fastest finger first" part of the game. I have seen this happen, then they take an ad break where the contestant has makeup applied, etc. before he is then led out to begin the main game.

Hancock (2008)

Corrected entry: Spoiler Alert: When the 'superwoman' tells Hancock that they were built in pairs so that they could live together and die together, it completely contradicts what happens at the end of the film. As she is is lying dead on the hospital bed, Hancock uses the last of his strength to move far away from her, thus causing her to live again and both of them start becoming immortal once more. If this is the case, then when one of their kind dies, as long as the one who is alive is far enough, the being that died will come back to life and both will become immortal again.

Correction: She explains to him that there is a reason why they lose their powers over time when they pair up, and that is so that they can grow old and die together like normal mortals. SO, presumably the others died because they chose to become mortals and live normal human lifetimes.

Sweeney Todd (2007)

Corrected entry: Sweeny Todd, circa 1800, is walking on a Victorian pleasure pier - the first of which type (iron structure with wooden decking) opened in Margate in 1855.

Correction: This Stephen Sondheim musical version of the story of Sweeney Todd is set in Victorian times, "circa" late 1880's.

Spider-Man 3 (2007)

Corrected entry: The first time we see MJ hostage in the taxi cab and she's hanging in the black web, she is in the back seat. The second time we see her in the cab, she's in the front driver's seat.

Correction: Between shots, she has moved around the car to try and level it out and reduce the risk of it falling. She moves from the front to the back of the cab a few times throughout the scene.

Corrected entry: The make of camera that Wendy uses to take pictures round the amusement park is a Lumex. When she plugs it up to her PC at home to view the pictures the computer registers a Panasonic camera.

pierpp

Correction: Panasonic manufacture the Lumix range of cameras. This is not a mistake. Lumix is a model of camera, not the brand. Panasonic is the brand.

Final Destination (2000)

Corrected entry: When Alex and Clear are sitting on the beach Clear tells Alex that her father was killed when she was 10. Later on in the movie Clear looks at a picture of her and her father on a fishing trip. The back of the picture says me and dad "1986". If she is a high school senior that would make her 18 years old. In the picture she appears to be about 10 years old. If she was 10 in 1986 that would make her about 23 in the movie - a little old for a high school senior.

Correction: There is nothing to suggest that the photo was taken just before her father died. She looks younger than ten in the photo, so it is perfectly possible that the photo was taken a few years before he died, when she was around 6 or 7 years old.

mandy gasson

That still makes clear at least 20 years old.

Correction: This is your personal opinion. And Clear would still be at least 20 if she was 6 or 7 in the photo.

Corrected entry: When Voldemort goes to Cedric's body he says "such a handsome boy" and steps on his face, you can see some flecks of mud on his face. When Harry brings Cedric back the mud has completely disappeared.

Correction: A lot happens after Voldemort puts his foot on Cedric's face, so there is plenty of time for the mud to have moved, like, for example , when they are fliying through the air whilst being tranported by the portkey. Or even once they have landed, whilst Harry is trying to protect Cedric's body. There is plenty of time for someone or something to have had contact with Cedric's face and move the mud.

Corpse Bride (2005)

Corrected entry: Several times, throughout the movie, Emily's 'bone' arm switches from her left to her right.

Correction: I have watched this film twice, and Emily's "bone" arm is always her left arm. It never switches.

The Island (2005)

Corrected entry: As Lincoln and Jordan are escaping the Institute, they are crawling through construction areas and ventilation shafts, getting their white jump suits visibly dirty. Once they emerge from the Institute into the real world, their suits are instantly clean again.

Steph_Jared

Correction: No, their suits are filthy. When they first emerge into the "real" world, there is very bright sunlight, and it is harder to see the dirt, but then as the scenes progress and they are walking further through the desert, you can clearly see that their suits are covered in dry "filth".

The Island (2005)

Corrected entry: When Tom Lincoln discovers Lincoln Six-Echo and Jordan in his house, he attacks, smashing the glass case of the Renevatio model. Moments later, the case is intact again.

Correction: He does not fall and break the Renevatio casing, he falls onto a glass coffee table that is next to the casing.

Corrected entry: In the vampire bar scene, when Akasha is eating the blonde vampire's heart, The metal plate that hangs off of her dress comes to a V point on the bottom. But in the shot where Akasha walks through the flames out of the vampire bar, the metal plate has a square bottom.

Correction: The metal plate has a V shaped point all the way through the scene, even when she walks through the flames.

Wild Things (1998)

Corrected entry: Kevin Bacon knows about Matt Dillon's plan and that it includes killing Neve Cambell so why does he keep investigating and warning her? You can't say it's for creating an alibi because he does it when neither his partner nor anyone else is there to witness him.

Correction: He is doing it to make Neve Campbell's character paranoid, so that she will go to see Denise Richard's character and have it out with her. This gives him the opportunity to film them together and create the beginnings of what will end up framing Denise Richards for Neve Campbell's 'murder'.

Love Actually (2003)

Corrected entry: When Jamie is going to see Aurelia again, he flies to Marseilles airport, which is of course in France. Then, when he goes to find her at the restaurant, all of a sudden he's surrounded by loads of Portuguese.

Correction: When he first meets Aurelia, he tries to talk to her in french, but the lady who has brought her to the house tells him that she is not french but portugeuse. Obviously she lives in a village where there happens to be a big portugeuse population, most of which seem to be her own family. At no point is he meant to have travelled to Portugal.

The Sixth Sense (1999)

Corrected entry: Bruce Willis's clothes are inconsistent. He keeps on wearing the grey shirt (which he was wearing when he was shot), but manages to acquire a tie, suitcoat and overcoat after he is dead.

R W Hlavac

Correction: If you watch the DVD it is explained that Bruce's character wears clothes that he had been wearing on the day that he died (not necessarily the precise moment he died), so that is where he got the tie and coat etc. from.

Gangs of New York (2002)

Corrected entry: In the scene where Amsterdam has slept with Jenny and Bill the Butcher comes into the room, Amsterdam makes a point of covering Jennys shoulder with the bed cover. When Bill has left the room the cover is under Jennys arm even though she hasn't stirred at all.

Correction: Jenny's arm is over the bed covers during the entire scene. Amsterdaam just pulls part of the covers higher up her shoulder to cover her up bit more, but because he is moving about on the bed, the covers move back down again during the rest of the scene.

Titanic (1997)

Corrected entry: As the boat is flooding and Jack and Rose are almost completely submerged in water, sometimes you can see that Rose's dress is cut knee-length to help her move more efficiently in water. One prime example of this is when Jack plunges underwater to get the keys to the gate in front of them.

Correction: Rose's dress is not knee length, it is just that as it is made of chiffon or some other very light and flimsy fabric, it has gathered up aover her knees as she is running through the water.

mandy gasson

Correction: Johnny Depp was born in 1963, and Orlando Bloom was born in 1977, so it is extremely possible for Captain Jack to be aboard The Black Pearl. Will was about 12 at the time, so Jack would have been in his mid twenties.

Correction: Will knew before hand when he was about to be killed by Barbossa. Jack wanders in and talks about how they were all men of their word and how Elizabeth is all set to marry Norrington.

Corrected entry: How did "Slugworth" get to Charlie and Vericua so fast? They discovered the tickets and in a few short seconds he was there.

Piemanmoo

Correction: We can assume that Wonka probably knew the location of all the golden tickets, and so as Slugworth really worked for Wonka, he was probably sent to the locations to watch for the winners.
