Trivia: Many of the Gotham Rogues are played by members of the Pittsburgh Steelers. Ben Rothlisberger and Hines Ward can be seen during the pan of the team during the National Anthem. The game is also being played at Heinz Field, home of the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Trivia: Leonard Nimoy voices Sentinel Prime and towards the end of the movie he has the line "The needs of the many, outweigh the needs of the few". This is the same as his line from Star Trek 2: The Wrath of Khan, where he plays Mr Spock.

Trivia: The claw on Bonecrushers Manipulator Arm on the real Buffalo MPV is only 14 inches wide. The producers wanted the claw to be bigger and meaner so a larger wider claw was built and attached to the Arm to make Bonecrusher look more menacing.

Trivia: Aside from Lou Ferrigno appearing in the film, there are other nods to the TV series such as the piano song about 1/4 of the way through the film(when Dr Banner is walking the streets) and when Dr Banner and Dr Ross steal the truck, it's a 70's model F-150 which Dr Banner also drove in the TV series, albeit a different colored one.

Trivia: Harrison Ford played the part of the School Principal but his scenes were cut. His wife at the time was one of the screenwriters and he visited the set regularly so Mr. Spielberg asked him to play the part. This rumor was confirmed in the 2002 20th Anniversary Limited Edition DVD book that came with the Boxset.

Trivia: The red 8 car seen briefly in a couple of scenes was voiced by NASCAR driver Dale Earnhardt Jr. Dale Jr, also drives the 8 car on the NASCAR circuit.

Trivia: Brendan Fraser once again reprises his role as Encino Man in this film, as the soldier who tells Bones "don't eat the chicken, it tastes just like frog," and then eats something off Bones' tray.
