Corrected entry: When Harry, Ron, and Hermione are hiding from Filch, they find Fluffy, scream, and run away. But when they are speaking of it later, Hermione says something like "Honestly, don't you two have eyes? Didn't you see what it was standing on?" But it never shows Hermione looking down at the trap door when they were face-to-face-to-face-to-face with the three-headed dog.

Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone (2001)
Correction: They first see Fluffy while looking down, then travelled all the way up to its face. That's when she saw the trap door.

Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone (2001)
Corrected entry: In the flying practice scene, after Malfoy gets hold of Neville's rememberall, he flies up with his broom and, after dialogue with Harry, he throws the globe away. Harry, after flying at least twenty metres after it, catches the globe in front of McGonagall's window, which is at least on the eighth floor of a tower. When Harry flies back to the others and lands, McGonagall almost instantly comes up behind him. Now wasn't that a bit too fast? She can't have apparated, as no-one can do that on Hogwarts grounds.
Correction: There are many secret passages in Hogwarts, and as a teacher McGonagall should know most ,if not all, of them.
Correction: Also, as a skilled teacher, she probably apparated.

Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone (2001)
Corrected entry: In the scene where the first years are sorted and Draco gets sorted into Slytherin, Ron says to Harry "There isn't a witch or wizard that went bad that wasn't in Slytherin." This statement is actually incorrect. Sirius Black, although actually innocent, was in Gryffindor when he was at school, as was Peter Pettigrew, an actual Voldemort follower.
Correction: It could be that Ron's just repeating a generalization he heard, or his own biased opinion. It stands to reason that Ron wouldn't even have known what house Sirius Black was in when he was at school years before, and since Sirius Black and Peter Pettigrew weren't even mentioned in this film, we'll never know.
Correction: At this point in the series, Wormtail being a follower wasn't known to anyone but Sirius.

Friday the 13th Part VII: The New Blood (1988)
Continuity mistake: Outside the house when the last pillar on the porch breaks we can see Jason looking up and then to the side. When it cuts he looks up and to the side again. (01:12:30)
Suggested correction: Because he's reacting to the noise and each part of the roof falling off each time.

Friday the 13th Part VII: The New Blood (1988)
Revealing mistake: When Dan is gathering wood for the campfire, in the shot when he splits a log with his machete you can clearly see that it was already broken. (00:25:20)
Suggested correction: It also shows him swinging the machete once before breaking in half. A machete wouldn't be strong enough to cut the log in half with just 1 swing. The log was obviously being struck before it broke.

Friday the 13th Part VII: The New Blood (1988)
Continuity mistake: The scene where the AA couple is having sex in the van, the guy suddenly has shoes on when he exits looking for Jason. You see him supposedly putting on his pants under the covers, but no shoes.
Suggested correction: We don't see everything he does under the covers. Plus it cuts to the outside and showing him exit the van, but we are not given a time frame of how long he was in the van before he exit's it.

Police Academy 6: City Under Siege (1989)
Continuity mistake: The gang shoots the mastermind's screen with a plastic dart, but a few moments later the dart has vanished.
Suggested correction: Those little rubber darts don't stick to everything. Could have fallen off.

Police Academy 2: Their First Assignment (1985)
Audio problem: After Captain Lasard delivers his inspiring speech to "Nail these punks," one of the cops stands up and yells "Let's kick ass." even though his lips aren't moving.
Suggested correction: Looked like his lips were moving to me.
They weren't moving. He had a big smile on his face but for him to say, "Let's kick ass." would be impossible without his lips making the necessary movements to say it or with an enormous smile.
I just watched this movie and his lips WERE moving.
I've seen the scene and the mistake is valid. His mouth doesn't move in any significant way for him to say what is dubbed over. His lips barely move as if he simply took a breath.

The Break-Up (2006)
Corrected entry: When Gary arrives at the bowling alley for the couples league, he is informed by Brooke that since they broke up and are no longer a couple, he couldn't be on the team. Gary was then voted off by his teammates. Brooke was not dating anybody either so why was she able to stay in the league? And why didn't Gary protest that?
Correction: Brooke didn't get kicked out of the league because they were all her friends and not Gary's.
A team cannot kick someone out of the league, just off that team. So therefore the mistake still counts.

Dawn of the Dead (2004)
Corrected entry: When the survivors first enter the mall, Kenneth throws a toilet through the window, spraying glass all over the floor. We then see them finish walking on the glass (you can hear the crunching of the glass as they walk on it). Seeing as she was not wearing shoes, how was Ana able to walk on the glass without cutting her feet?
Correction: It's entirely possible to walk on broken glass without getting cut if you're careful. Also remember she'd only have to take one or two steps to get out.
Incorrect because the glass pieces were big and the glass shattered far enough that she would have to walk more than a step or 2. So therefore the mistake entry is correct.

Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire (2005)
Corrected entry: In this movie, Professor Flitwick was in human form. However in all the other Harry Potter movies and even in the books, he was a troll-like creature. I know this movie had a different director and they sometimes change things a bit, but at least keep the characters looking the same.
Correction: Most things (school robes, Hogwarts geography, ect) are different between each of the films. It's not a continuous series, the way LOTR is.
Mistake is still valid. Clothing and buildings can easily explained when they change. But even in the wizard world, changing from a creature to a human? Come on.

The Karate Kid (1984)
Corrected entry: When Daniel and Mr. Miyagi are on their way to the part of the arena where Daniel will have his 1st match, you see a group of Kobra Kai's, led by Johnny and his boys, running by them and shoving Daniel. However, as soon as Daniel gets to his circle, you can see Johnny and his boys already there and looking on.
Correction: All this is done to intimidate Daniel. They jog by and shove him, then jog to his first match. Since he doesn't even know where it is initially they have plenty of time to beat him there.
Incorrect because just a few feet away you can see his opponent kneeling down waiting for him. When Daniel gets there, the bullies who shoved them were already there.

Friday the 13th: The Final Chapter (1984)
Corrected entry: When Terri goes outside to go home, as she walks towards her bike, you can see someone upstairs walking by the window. Must be a crew member because Tina and Jimbo are in bed having sex and Ted, Sarah and Doug are watching the film downstairs. Paul and Samantha are dead. There is nobody left in the house. (00:51:15)
Correction: It was her twin sister in the window. She even says "You slut!"
Correction: She's looking upstairs because she knows her sister is up there. But the shadow is a different window. Different shape.

Friday the 13th Part V: A New Beginning (1985)
Corrected entry: Roy's motive behind his killing spree is that he's upset his son, Joey, was murdered by Vic. So why kill everyone else, except the person that was solely responsible?
Correction: Roy also loses his mind and snaps. He simply blames everyone for his son's death, not just Victor. He's crazy and goes on a killing spree (just like Pamela Voorhees did). There's no plot hole when a crazy person doesn't act rationally. Plus, Victor was locked up and Roy might not have been able to get to him.
Correction: He could also blame everyone else for not stopping it and letting his son die.

Friday the 13th Part V: A New Beginning (1985)
Plot hole: When the couple go into the woods to have sex, after they finish, the guy goes to a pond to clean up, which is not very far from where he left his girlfriend. A couple minutes later, "Jason" is about to kill her, and she screams very loudly. Despite this he doesn't hear her.
Suggested correction: 1st we don't know how far the pond is from where they had sex. 2nd you notice his hair was wet. He could have been underwater when she screamed.

Friday the 13th Part V: A New Beginning (1985)
Continuity mistake: Just before Junior is killed, the level of the stew Ethel is making changes from shot to shot. (00:56:00)
Suggested correction: That's because she keeps throwing vegetables and other ingredients into the pot.

Friday the 13th Part V: A New Beginning (1985)
Plot hole: When the cop shows Pam the newspaper clippings they include what look to be fresh photos of the real Jason from the events of Part IV, yet no photographer is ever seen taking pictures of Jason alive in the previous films and most likely wouldn't live long enough to publish the photo. (01:25:00)
Suggested correction: The picture was taken from security footage at the hospital after killing the 2 employees.
It was never shown.

The Monster Squad (1987)
Plot hole: In order to get rid of the monsters, Phoebe needs to read a text from Van Helsing's diary in order to summon the vortex. As Dracula approaches her, she becomes scared and misses on some words (the Scary German Guy is helping her read since she is 5 years old and she doesn't repeat some of the words he says). However the vortex still shows up to get rid of the monsters.
Suggested correction: It is never specified that the incantation must be read verbatim to work.
It also never states that reading only part of the incantation would work either. However, the mistake is still valid because the way to get rid of something evil by reading some "spell" you'd have to read the entire thing. Therefore the virgin shouldn't have been able to summon the vortex.
Since "spells" are entirely made up and magic isn't real, you can't say that in this film every word must be read for it to work when the film itself shows otherwise. Every film gets to make it's own rules with magic, this film establishes that the incantation can be read "in spirit" to work. Other films might have different rules.
It's always been implied in movies and books that incantations must be read word for word in order to work. Otherwise, what's the point of having all the words there if you only need to read a word or 2?

Bill & Ted Face the Music (2020)
Plot hole: At the end, everyone was returned to their own timeline. Except for Ted's dad. He's shown still playing till the end and not disappearing like the others. However, this version of Ted's dad came from the future when he attempted to arrest his son at David Grohl's house. Therefore, he should have disappeared with the others and returned to his future timeline.
Suggested correction: That's not what happened at the end at all. Only those whose were time-displaced returned to their own timeline. Which is why we see Kid Cudi leave, he was time-displaced and not picked up in the time machine. You can even see Ling Lun is still playing.
Incorrect. Ted's dad was time displaced as well. He never arrived by the time machine, but was sent to hell after being killed by Dennis. Therefore, he should have been sent back to his future timeline.
Ted's dad was never time-displaced, nor did I say he arrived by time-machine. He was sent to Hell in his own time line and then went with the group to 2020. Unlike Kid Cudi who was time-displaced because he popped out of his own timeline because of time and space collapsing. Just being from a different time isn't what time-displaced meant.

Glory (1989)
Factual error: In some of the scenes in the video during their time at Readville camp, they celebrate Christmas. In actuality, the first volunteers arrived at Readville in February of 1863, and Shaw died in July of 1863, along with most of the regiment, so there is no possibility of having a Christmas during that time.
Suggested correction: This is not a documentary. It's a movie based on actual events. Therefore the filmmakers have a right to change things as they please.
While filmmakers can make up anything they want, for films considered to be based on historical events, they can only make up things as they could have happened. They can't make up things that couldn't have happened without it being considered a mistake (what one might consider an anachronism). Since no volunteers where with Shaw at the camp in Readville during Christmas time, it's a valid mistake to show them celebrating Christmas.
Suggested correction: The 54th regiment arrived at Readville Camp, Massachusetts on November 27, 1863, not February.
First off, the 54th did begin recruiting and training at Camp Meigs in Feb 1863 and departed March 1863, and Shaw was in charge. The correction make no sense to say they began training under Shaw after Shaw died. And, they still wouldn't have been able to celebrate Christmas based on the correction.

Correction: The scene cuts frequently therefore she could have glanced down when the camera was not focusing on her face.
