Continuity mistake: When Snake first rescues the President from the Duke's railcar, the two of them walk beside the train. They walk the whole length of car #2205, then they walk it again. The 'new' car has some graffiti on it; either the filmmakers used both sides of the car, or added the graffiti to make it look different, but they forgot to change/erase the car's big yellow numbers. Continuity mistake: When Snake, Brain and Maggie drive down Broadway, away from Brain's place where the Duke is, a number of people are attacking the car as it drives. Without anyone running down the street with the car, we see a group of people twice, possibly more. Easiest to notice are 3 specific guys in the same position beside each other at both locations. World War Z (2013)

Continuity mistake: Just before the garbage truck mows down the policeman and continues through traffic, we see behind the cop a street full of stopped cars, and a building less than 100 yards away (the street starts at a T-intersection). There is no truck, and no way for it to have gotten onto the street at the speed it's going. (00:07:05)

World War Z (2013)

Continuity mistake: Three times through the movie, we see the command centre on the ship with people running around. Based on several people's movements, it seems that all these scenes were taken at one time, from different angles - too many of the same people moving the same way, carrying the same things.

World War Z (2013)

Continuity mistake: As Gerry enters the ship's command centre the first time, when he starts walking across the floor, we see a bearded man in the background, at the stairs against the wall, talking to someone. The camera angle changes, and he is now sorting through papers perhaps 60-70 feet from where he was just standing. (00:30:30)

World War Z (2013)

Continuity mistake: The girls are kicked off the USS Argus when the military thinks Gerry is dead. Thierry sends them off on a helicopter. As they board the helicopter, we see a bridge structure behind Thierry, who is looking down the length of the ship at them - and also behind them is 'the same' bridge structure. It has been shown, in several shots through the film, that the Argus has just one such structure. (01:25:20)

World War Z (2013)

World War Z mistake picture

Continuity mistake: When Gerry reunites with his family in the Nova Scotia Safe Zone, the boy gets into the family hug, with his sweatshirt hood down. The camera angle changes and it is up. (01:55:35)

Continuity mistake: When Doug first arrives at the Tower, he goes down an elevator from the roof to the 65th floor, then has to cross over to different elevators. In one of these, he goes up - to 79 according to the display; but the floor buttons on the control, consist of just 16 buttons; the 7th or 8th button is lit as he gets off, so he has only gone up halfway to 79. The Host (2013)

Continuity mistake: When the Seeker's car hits the back of the stopped humans' truck under the bridge, the impact forces the human passenger to drop his gun; based on the angle, we expect it is tossed backwards about 10-20 feet - and lands beside the truck's right side. When the female Seeker arrives and approaches the truck, she picks up the gun from about 50 feet behind (and left of) the truck. The position of the crashed Seeker's car would have blocked the gun from going any further. Also; we see her pick up the gun from a very sharp sun/shade borderline - but in the wide shots, we can't even tell where the shade ends and the sun begins - no borderline at all. Also the closeup shows the gun on the right of the double-yellow line, but the wide shot shows it between the 2 yellow lines as she picks it up. (01:02:45)

Insomnia (2002)

Continuity mistake: When Rachel and Dormer are in his room the night before he is going to leave, she takes a sofa cushion down from the dresser; the camera angle changes and she has two cushions.

Space Precinct (1994)

Protect and Survive - S1-E1

Continuity mistake: When Gersham runs from the police in the first scene, his vehicle crashes on a rooftop and hits a wall, bouncing off it, turning and stopping parallel to it. He exits the vehicle, at the point where he crashed, and the vehicle is now positioned differently (turned 90 degrees, pointing straight to the wall). (00:04:20)

Invasion (2005)

Pilot - S1-E1

Continuity mistake: As Dave is leaning over the edge of the air boat with Rose behind him, he pulls a chunk of metal out of the water and places it on the edge of the boat on his left side. When he gets up from his lying position moments later, the metal is gone. Moments later again, with an overhead shot of the boat, we see what appears to be that piece of metal positioned at what would have been his right side, not his left. This is also where we see him step over the seat (twice!) in subsequent camera angles. (00:30:00)

Season 1 generally

Continuity mistake: When Jack is alone in the desert and the girl's Jeep stops nearby, he is positioned towards the right-front corner of it. But when he approaches it, he walks into the scene from the left-front corner of it. There's no reason he'd walk way around the area - he is suffering from the heat and would walk as little as possible, in a straight line to it. (02:02:35)

Show generally

Continuity mistake: The cop (Marty) enters the diner and shoots three patrons before killing himself. Moments later, the security tape that the Army watches, has the timing and positions of the characters a little different. Clearly, they had to re-shoot the scene from the different angle. Continuity mistake: When Tobler (the male survivor) approaches the Humvee initially, the driver starts noticing his symptoms just as Tobler stops yelling. Later in the film, in flashback, in the same scene, the driver starts reacting a second or two earlier.

Continuity mistake: When the team is checking out the grocery store in Piedmont, they exit the building and a Humvee is in the middle of the street where there was no vehicle before. They had driven that Humvee but had parked it elsewhere.

Show generally

Continuity mistake: The Army Humvee arrives in Piedmont and finds the townsfolk all dead. The timecode on the truck's video recording is 22:13 hours. When the team gathers to learn of the situation, they are shown this video. The General then presents a video he says is 2 hrs later, the view from the drone with infrared film. The time code on this, is 3:15. Both were shot in the same place, and both would be local time, so the time is wrong. More to the point, the original drone footage did not have any timecode on it. Continuity mistake: It is established in the film that the Graboids have 3 'tongues' - but when the women are trapped in the wagon, they shoot two of the tongues of the Graboid hunting them, then two more tongues come out of it. (01:28:35)

Upvote valid corrections to help move entries into the corrections section.

Suggested correction: Earlier in the film, Hiram, Kelly and the other guy had been shooting at several of the creatures in that shock and shooting their tongues. It is probable that this was one that had a tongue injured by bullets.

Quantom X

Continuity mistake: When the Dirt Dragons show up at the muling station, after the trio shoots at them, Kelly is emptying his gun of the used cartridges, but then they turn to shoot it behind them - Kelly doesn't reload, but is shooting. There's only about 2 seconds for Kelly to open his jacket, pull out more bullets, load the gun and fire - not enough time. (00:51:55)
