Saw (2004)

Question: What exactly was the purpose of the cigarettes? It seems like in order to kill Adam, Lawrence would have to give Adam a "blood soaked" cigarette. If this was how Lawrence was going to kill Adam, then what was the point of the saws and bullets? Also, wouldn't Lawrence be skeptical as a Doctor that something like a blood soaked cigarette would kill Adam while a normal unsoaked one wouldn't kill him? The whole part with the cigarette's leaves many unanswered questions.

Chosen answer: The killer knows that, in this early stage, Lawrence is unlikely to really try to kill Adam, and also that he is likely to try and pretend to do so to get out (hence the electrical shock administered to Adam). Thus, the saws and gun are for use later in the game, when things really heat up; the cigarette is there specifically for the ruse Lawrence attempts. Also, the deadly effect of the cigarette is not just the blood, but the fact that the blood is poisoned (or so they are led to believe); hence, if Adam put the poisoned blood in his system, it could very well have killed him if it really were poisoned. Smoking an unsoaked one might kill him with cancer, but that would have taken far too long to do Lawrence any good.

Trivia: When Ben looks at the plaque which has "Employee of the month" showing him winning many times, if you look at the more wide shot of the plaque you can see on the month of February the name "Justin Lin", the director, producer and Writer of Better Luck Tomorrow.

Reservoir Dogs (1992)

Trivia: In the opening scene of Reservoir Dogs Quentin Tarantino says that Madonna's "Like a Virgin" song is a metaphor for big dicks. Long after the movie was made, Quentin met Madonna and she gave him a copy of her album Erotica and inscribed it with "To Quentin - it's about love, not dick."

Hulk (2003)

Continuity mistake: When the dad of the hulk comes to see his son for the "deal" he made to turn himself in to the military. You can see the type of handcuff the dads wearing changes kind two or three times in the scene.

Bad Company (2002)

Continuity mistake: In the chess park table scene, when Chris Rock is playing chess, you can see the placement of the pieces move around dramatically in different shots, which you cannot do in a few seconds of playing. In one part their are practically no pieces left, though in the next shot the game has many pieces on the board and looks like the game just started.

Bad Company (2002)

Continuity mistake: The movie makes it out Chris is an awesome chess player, though in the chess scene, you see Chris make some terribly awful moves and make some moves that aren't even legal.

Bad Company (2002)

Factual error: When Chris Rock plays chess on the street on a chess park table, you can see that the right square on the board is black. Any chess player knows that a board must be set up white on right. Something that makes this mistake even bigger is that Chris Rock is playing chess on a downtown chess table, not a personal board. Meaning the whole table was made wrong by the architect, no way would a city let that kind of error continue. You can also notice that the table Anthony Hopkins is playing on was constructed properly.

Band of Brothers (2001)

Trivia: 40 members of the cast had to go through a ten day bootcamp in which they were called by their roles in the series. Their boot camp instructor, Captain Dale Dye, was also in charge of doing the bootcamp for the main cast of Saving Private Ryan. Dye played the role of Colonel Robert Sink in the series, and a Colonel in the war department in the film. Dale Dye has also starred in, and been a military advisor on many other TV series and films for years, he's an extremely well respected man in the film industry.

Continuity mistake: When the convict comes back to say sorry for killing Earl's dad after the shootout, watch every shot of Tinker in this scene. In one of them, you can see Tinker's back teeth shiny white and clean, while his front teeth are his usual rotten yellow colour. Obviously, the make up artists never applied the fake yellow teeth to the back molars.

Saving Private Ryan mistake picture

Revealing mistake: When Wade gets shot, watch the shot where Upham brings the bags up to the injured medic. The next shot there is some fog which then reveals the injured medic. In this shot, watch carefully as the cast rips away the medic's shirt. If you look near the neck, you can see the fake stomach vest he is wearing for a split second - when the actor realises he ripped too far up, he quickly covers it back up. (01:28:43)
