Continuity mistake: When Peter walks away from Brian with the hula hoop around his waist, he runs into the stereo, knocking a vase of flowers on the floor, shattering the vase. Next shot shows the mess cleaned up without anyone even cleaning it. (00:04:45)

Continuity mistake: As the Alabama dives for the first time you will notice that the periscope and antennae masts protruding from her conning tower keep switching from up to down, indicating that the film crew used footage from two different sub dives to achieve that sequence. (00:18:50)

Continuity mistake: When Jr. says his legs don't work the items outside his window change from a gulley to a car park. (00:29:50)

Continuity mistake: Just after Patrick 'kisses' his imaginary girlfriend goodbye and tells Brian to look after her, Brian switches position on the couch. In the first shot he is sitting on a crack between couch pillows, but in the next shot he is sitting in the middle of the centre pillow. (00:13:50)

Continuity mistake: During the first mission briefing, the commander is pointing to the map and you can clearly see the top secret photos of the enigma sitting by the manila envelope, but right after that shot he pulls the photos out of the envelope and hands them to people. (00:24:20)

Continuity mistake: In the start of the film Matthew McConaughey is sitting on a porch at a wedding reception smoking a cigar, in one shot he has a stub left then in the next it's a new one. (00:12:20)

Continuity mistake: When Jesse is preparing snacks for his guests the items on the counter are next to the side of the hatch. When Jesse has given the virtual tour, the items are in the middle of the hatch. (00:25:15 - 00:26:45)
