Continuity mistake: At the end the little boy tells Gibbs the password he has chosen for his tree house. As he does, Gibbs is working on the railing at the opposite end to the ladder. Continuity mistake: In this film we find out that it was Deckard Shaw driving the car that crashes with Han. We then see Shaw drop Dom's cross in front of Han before the car explodes. However back in Tokyo Drift, we see all around the car before it explodes and Shaw is not seen. Given the footage from this film, he should have been visible in Tokyo Drift.

Continuity mistake: When Tej pulls in behind the bus after being shot at with armour piecing rounds, he is in line with the bus. Camera changes and now he is to the right hand side of the bus. (00:45:40)

Factual error: When Hobbs shows Shaw's file to Dom it states his details. Date and place of birth are both "Unknown." However it also lists service in the SBS and SAS, both of which would have details these details available for the DSS. (00:19:20)
