Question: What was the dance move announced by the DJ at the disco, that is an 80's dance move and not a 70's dance move, which has been added as a mistake, as the film was set in the 70's?
Answer: The dance move could quite easily have been a known move of the time which only gained popularity in the 1980's. The same thing happened with Michael Jackson's "Moonwalk" which had been performed by dancers and mime artists for decades before he made it popular and widely known.

Question: How come Karen goes into the past to see the husband kill his wife and son?
Answer: I don't think she actually went back into the past, I think it was just the house showing her what happened, or at least a type of visual echo of what happened. After all, some pretty strange stuff was happening in that house.

Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (2005)
Question: Why would Willy Wonka rather not talk about the pink sheep-shearing room?
Answer: It's probably to be assumed that what they're shearing is what Wonka cotton candy is made from, and Wonka didn't want to state this to anyone else. I can imagine 8 people from around the world that lost the competition going out and telling people cotton candy is made from pink sheep's wool wouldn't sit well with the masses.
Answer: Because is probably just one of those weird and wonderful things, like much of Wonka's world, that he could not really explain simply, thus feeling it was best left unsaid altogether. It may well be a nod to another Tim Burton/Johnny Depp movie where he played Ed Wood, a transvestite who liked pink angora sweaters.
Answer: I saw something saying that the shears may have reminded him of the silver hair.

Question: When Ed and Shaun are at the Winchester before the zombies break out, Shaun tries to shoot down Ed's high opinion of the Winchester's owner by saying "he says dogs can't look up." Ed says this is true. This bit of trivia comes up several times in the movie and is never answered. So can dogs really look up?
Answer: It's pigs that can't look up.
Answer: Of course they can, everything is up when you are the size of the average dog. They wouldn't have survived long as a species if they were unaware of anything more than a couple of feet off the ground.
I always thought it meant they can't do it with just their eyes, like they can't roll them upward so they would tilt their head up to see up. But I have seen my dog's eyes peek upward so maybe some other explanation.

Question: If it's such a hi-tech factory, why is Doris still using an old fashion typewriter when they wave to her?
Answer: Perhaps she prefers the old style typewriter. Besides, the film seems to be set in a parallel time where modern items and more antique items exist quite happily side by side.
This is further shown by the fact that there don't seem to be any phones.

The Shining (1980)
Question: I know the phrase "All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy" is supposed to be scary, but I don't understand. Why is it scary and what does it mean?
Answer: The phrase depicts how in the 20s while doing the human flesh butcher job over and over, Jack had started to become dull. This is also visible in 80s Jack's behavior. This ultimately led him to take extreme step of killing his wife and kid out of hunger.

Answer: Not really, imagine how painful the duct tape would be to remove from the bare skin around a wound. Putting it over the shirt still applies the pressure needed but with out the adhesive skin contact which would cause more problems later on.
