Full House (1987)

Season 4 generally

Trivia: Jaleel White's guest appearances this season as Steve Urkel created a gaping plot hole in the second episode of Step by Step: in that episode, White also guest starred as Urkel, and interacted with the show's characters. But Step by Step treats Full House as a fictional television series; thus, Urkel couldn't have appeared as a "real" person, because he was a character on a "fictional" show.

Casino Royale (2006)

Question: During the poker game when Bond orders his martini, what does Felix Leiter mean when he comments "Bring me one as well, keep the fruit"?

Cubs Fan

Chosen answer: Bond first requested a dry martini but then invented the "Vesper", which included a thin slice of lemon peel. I believe Felix was asking to hold the lemon.

D'oh-in' in the Wind - S10-E6

Continuity mistake: When Homer is shot at the hippie farm, he ends up with a flower in his head, stem first. But he put the flower in the gun barrel stem first, as well. From a shot at that close a range and that velocity, there's no way the flower could have turned around in mid-air.

Innocence (2) - S2-E14

Plot hole: After losing his soul, Angelus kills Jenny Calender's uncle, who is a descendant of the gypsy clan who cursed him. But, since there is nothing to suggest the uncle's room is in a public location, Angelus couldn't have gotten in the room without an invitation.

Immortal Beloved (1994)

Continuity mistake: After Beethoven pulls his nephew out of the tavern and yells that he is worthless, Beethoven is seen doubling over in pain. When the shot cuts to Karl, Beethoven is in the background, standing up straight, and doubles over again.

Cubs Fan

Chosen answer: Seeing as this is *scripted* television, they of course knew.

JC Fernandez

Factual error: Near the beginning of the movie, a train passenger asks another passenger if he saw Derek Jeter's home run the previous Saturday during a Yankees game. Since he was injured, Jeter didn't play in the game mentioned. (00:04:10)

Blow (2001)

Question: Considering how small her role was (in relation to the film's running time), why did Penelope Cruz earn second billing behind Johnny Depp?

Cubs Fan

Chosen answer: A star's screen time does not equate to what position they are billed at on a film. It generally relates to the selling power of their name. The film's main star would obviously be Depp. Cruz however would still be higher than people like Liotta, Reubens, etc. as her name is more known. It also helps with selling the film to audiences than just a one actor film.
