Continuity mistake: In the beginning of the UN sequence, we see a brief outside shot of the real UN building, but the further shots of the fake building have none of the elements from the shot we just saw: Flags, white stone wall.

Revealing mistake: Outside the UN, a woman in a red coat appears behind the hot dog stand and when the angle changes to the opposite side, in front of her, she's also there.

Continuity mistake: While the crowd follows Superman to the UN, the man with the balloons is first seen far away from him, but half a second later he is very close.

Continuity mistake: During the parade, young Vito sits down with baby Michael. A kid behind plays with a flag and when the angle changes to a close-shot his position and the flag's are totally different.

Plot hole: After Nuclear Man slides down the chimney of the Nuclear Plant the lid of the reactor is open and then automatically closes. This whole premise is totally absurd, not only for security reasons, but for logical ones too.

Revealing mistake: While Superman carries the Statue, there's a close shot of Nuclear Man showing his fingernails. The movie behind is playing the wrong way, and gives the sensation that Nuclear Man is flying backwards.

Continuity mistake: When Lois is in the subway carriage crying for help, she places her right hand on the rail above. A frame later the hand is by her waist.

Continuity mistake: The smoke coming out of the volcano changes direction in a split second after nuclear Man enters the crater.

Audio problem: When Superman is wounded on the neck, and when the italian villagers are saved, the same male falsetto voice is used to add a (crappy and out-of-sync) "Oooh!" and "Aaaah!".
