Question: When Selving and Foster and Darcy were sitting on the top of that roof and Selving said, "I know a pioneer in gamma radiation." Do you think he was talking about Bruce Banner?
Chosen answer: While no absolute confirmation exists within the film, it's hard to imagine that the description of a pioneer in gamma radiation who mysteriously disappears refers to anybody else.
Question: Early on, Odin is shown telling very young Thor and Loki about the great Frost Giant battle held in Scandinavia, presumably before they were born. Yet the children's book and Erik's own childhood memories indicate that adult Thor and Loki were part of the legends that come from that region, and by implication, would date to that time (965 AD?). Is Thor old enough to remember visiting Earth hundreds of years ago, or not?
Question: In the scene after the end credits, you see Professor Selvig and Nick Fury in a corridor and Nick fury shows him "the Cube". Then in a reflection, you see Loki. Are we to presume Loki made his way back to earth and took on Professor Selvig's appearance or he just appeared out of nowhere and found "the Cube".
Chosen answer: It seems reasonably clear that Loki made it to Earth and has been following Selvig in some manner, apparently giving him some degree of control over him, judging by Selvig repeating what Loki says.
Question: Presumably the only people on Asgard that are worthy of wielding Mjolnir are Thor and Odin. Why isn't Frigga worthy? And since Loki isn't worthy, shouldn't that have tipped off Odin that his son wasn't exactly noble, or would he just pass it off as Loki not being worthy because he is mischievous?
Answer: Worthiness is a tricky thing. Not being worthy doesn't mean you aren't a good, brave, honest, or sincere person. There may only be the tiniest flaw or doubt that can prevent you from moving Mjolnir. For example in Age of Ultron Bruce Banner, an intelligent, honest, sincere, and genuinely decent person is unable to move it. He simply lacks some aspect of being worthy.
Question: Why did Selvig free Thor, since he doesn't like him at that point?
Answer: Most likely because Jane convinced him to.
Also Selvig and Jane want to understand the Einstein Rosen bridge. They think Thor might be helpful and they don't trust SHIELD. And Selvig is starting to think there is a connection between the weird science stuff and the Norse tales from his childhood.
I don't think so.
Jane convinced Erik that Thor likely had some knowledge of the phenomenon they had seen. The photos they recorded showed him within the Bifrost anomaly.
Question: Was Laufey aware it was his son who came to Jotunheim and offered to return the casket to him?
Answer: When initially found by Odin, he does. Something then acts on him that causes him to mimic Odin's more human appearance, which he then keeps until his exposure to the frost giants during the events of the film, which tips him off to his true nature. Whether this was caused by some magic inherent in Loki even as a baby or whether Odin did something to disguise the child's true origin is unrevealed.
