Continuity mistake: In the scene where Jill and Charlie are revealed as the killers, Jill is holding a knife to Sidney's throat and a gun in her left hand as she explains her motive. When Jill and Charlie are getting ready to stab each other, the shot changes and Charlie hands Jill the knife, even though she just had it in her hand pointing it at Sidney. (01:11:20)

Jill and Charlie are the killers. Jill kills Charlie with the intent of framing him for the murders and making it look like Jill is the hero, just like Sidney was. Jill stabs Sidney to keep her quiet and then makes it look like Charlie killed Sidney and Jill saved the day. Jill is taken to the hospital, but finds out that Sidney survived. She tries to kill Sidney, who eventually electrocutes her and shoots her. But the media reports that Jill is a hero, meaning that she got what she wanted.

Trivia: While the film is primarily written by "Scream" and "Scream 2" writer Kevin Williamson, due to a hectic production schedule, "Scream 3" writer Ehren Kruger was brought on to do some last-minute rewrites during filming. However, Kruger chose to go uncredited, as he mainly worked on "polishing up" scenes originally written by Williamson.
Question: When Charlie stabbed Kirby, just as he walks away, did she say, "f*ck", or am i hearing things?
Answer: Yes, she does say it.
