Moonraker

Revealing mistake: During the laser battle inside the space station, one of the villains on one of the upper circular tiers makes a move as though to signify he was hit with a laser a second or two before the laser actually hits him.

Revealing mistake: During the skydiving scene, Jaws' stuntman is obviously different. Jaws appears to have a light skin complexion and be large in physique as normal but the stuntman has a tan skin color and is smaller in physique.

Revealing mistake: When Bond and Goodhead are in the Space Shuttle, when we see Goodhead reach for the pen her hair shows no effects of the lack of gravity.

Revealing mistake: When James and Holly finally escape from the space station, there's a shot of it with debris falling towards Earth. They disappear when they pass in front of the Earth.

Dr Wilson

Revealing mistake: When Bond is in the space station, the American shuttle is being attacked by a laser array. Bond thwarts the attack by activating a switch which causes the space station to decelerate, whereby it loses its spin and artficial gravity. People and objects start to move violently with respect to the station itself as a result of this. We see Bond and the operator being jerked back from the operations console. However, there are 5 actors close behind them who remain standing in the same position and do not move at all.

Revealing mistake: At the very start, when the people are out of the plane, and Bond hasn't got a parachute. Obviously, the stuntman would have a mini-parachute under his jacket. The wind blows Bond's jacket up for just a second, and you can see some of the mini-parachute.

Revealing mistake: When Bond hits the button to throw the space station out of its gravity and sends everyone out of position look at the command console manned by the two Drax henchmen, the prop used for the console laughably moves back and forth during the commotion.

Revealing mistake: When Jaws brings Bond and Holly to the command center of the space station Drax is sitting down in his chair then suddenly in the next shot he's standing without having moved.

Revealing mistake: When the passengers disembark from the shuttle the camera appears to be on the side of the space station, but look at the stars on the bottom of the screen - they are moving a lot faster than the stars on the top of the screen, both sets of stars should be moving at the same speed.

Revealing mistake: When the shuttle ejects the engines you can see the support wires used to pull off the boosters.

Revealing mistake: During the boat chase with Jaws the close up of Bond driving the boat reveals at the bottom of the screen part of the camera rig holding the camera in place. In other long shots these brackets are missing from the boat.

Revealing mistake: During the shooting in the space station, Holly and another guy jump in a ditch and start shooting at the baddies. Seconds later the same shot is repeated. (01:53:15)

Revealing mistake: When Bond is underwater struggling with a python he is replaced by an obvious stuntman. (01:23:15)

Revealing mistake: During the cable car scene, when Bond and Goodhead are sliding down, not only is the image in the background a still image (check the boat left of the island, and the waves next to the coast on the right), but the very same shot of them sliding downwards is used twice.

Revealing mistake: During the boat chase in the jungle, in several of the front shots of Bond's boat you can see the wake from the camera boat in front of him.

Revealing mistake: During the speed boat chase Jaws waves the 2nd boat past. The boat goes from right to left and the camera boat goes left to right - in the background you can see the wake from the camera boat. It's doing a 360 degree turn, completely different to the one Jaws is on.

Revealing mistake: During the boat chase in the Amazon the second boat blows up twice and is moving very fast but the third explosion shows the boat stationary with no time to stop.

Revealing mistake: When Bond is freefalling, the stunt man's jacket has a very obvious zipper on the back, to allow the safety parachute underneath to open in case of emergency.

Factual error: Although it's already been mentioned that the scene of the shuttle being stolen from the back of the 747 is impossible because the shuttle wouldn't be fueled while being transported, it should also be noted that even if the shuttle was fueled, it would still be just as impossible. During the getaway, the thieves ignited the shuttle's three main engines to get free of the 747 and escape. The thing is, the shuttle's main engines are fueled entirely by the large external tank the shuttle and the solid fuel boosters are attached to during liftoff, and once the tank is jettisoned, these engines cannot be used. The only engines the shuttle's internal fuel feeds are the reaction control thrusters and the Orbital Maneuvering System (which are the two smaller engines located in the bulges just above the main engines). Both the RCS thrusters and OMS engines are almost totally useless within the atmosphere, so even if the thieves managed to get the shuttle free of the 747, they could only get it as far as it would glide unpowered. In fact, they could probably get it further if it wasn't fueled. It should be noted that this is not a fictional, futuristic spacecraft. It's a bog standard shuttle, stolen from NASA, on the back of the modified 747 used by them to transport the orbiter from its landing site to Cape Canaveral.

Question: What did Bond say in front of Drax which made Jaws reluctant to send Bond to his death in space?

Onesimos

Chosen answer: His comments to Drax were about the physical and mental perfection that Drax required for those chosen to repopulate the Earth. As Dolly (Jaw's girlfriend) needs glasses, she falls short of those criteria (as, quite probably, does Jaws himself), which makes him wonder whether Drax won't simply get rid of them once he's carried out his plan. As such, he chooses to ally himself with Bond rather than risk Dolly being harmed.
