Live and Let Die

Revealing mistake: When Tee Hee bends the barrel of Bond's Walther PPK, in the close-up, the score marks where the barrel has been pre-cut are visible.

Revealing mistake: When Tee Hee and Bond are fighting in the train compartment, watch the right edge of the screen. In one of the shots the end of the set is visible as Bond shoves Tee Hee against the "wall", which wobbles. So much is revealed you can see the wooden framing.

Revealing mistake: As "Tee Hee" (the man with the claw) escorts Bond to the alligator pond at the farm, they at one point stand next to each other. You can see that Tee Hee's prosthetic arm is much longer than his real one- about as long as you might expect it to be, if the actor is really holding a prop with his actual (and perfectly good) hand.

Revealing mistake: When Madeline Smith (The Italian agent credited as Beautiful Girl) emerges from the wardrobe / closet, she embraces Roger Moore. He then uses his magnetic Rolex to pull down the zipper on the back of her dress. If you look closely, you can see the cable/wire under dress pulling the zipper down. (00:11:20 - 00:12:00)

Revealing mistake: The snake held up to kill the agent and later Solitaire is obviously not a real snake but a fake one. Look at how stiff it looks.

Revealing mistake: When Bond is giving Mrs Bell her flying lesson at the airport, the wings are torn off the plane. When Bond says, "Same time tomorrow, Mrs Bell?" the reaction shot of Mrs Bell shows the left wing to be intact. It is her same reaction shot when Bond climbed into the plane.

Revealing mistake: When Rosie pokes a gun through the door at the Bond's bungalow, Bond uses his cigar to burn her hand, and then throws her onto the bed. You can see that the person being thrown is not Gloria Hendry, but a male stunt double.

Revealing mistake: When Hamilton is watching the Fillet of Soul restaurant at the beginning of the movie, he is stabbed and killed. When the coffin is brought over to him, you can see the 'dead' Hamilton breathing.

Continuity mistake: In the boat chase, when Bond comes to the shipyard, the goon can't find him. But there would be obvious foam/wake marks and waves after Bond's boat for several minutes.

James Bond: I'm surprised they didn't spot you, too. There's a most remarkable girl back there with a deck of cards.
Harold Strutter: I saw those cards on the way up. Spades, James, every one. You were nailed the minute you left 74.

Trivia: On a previous scouting mission for the film, the team passed a roadside sign on a gate which read "Trespassers Will Be Eaten" – this transpired to be a Jamaican crocodile farm, owned by one Ross Kananga. His father had been eaten by one of these beasts – he was always quick to point out which of the 1500 or so – and with his disregard for the dangers involved with his profession, he was widely regarded by the crew as being a lunatic. He obviously made an impression, though, as it was decided that his farm would be written into the script and even his name was used for that of the villain. Most of the stunts performed with these crocodiles in the film were done by Kananga himself. For one shot, however, Moore was required to stand on an island, surrounded by hungry reptiles. The actor suggested that a nice touch would be for him to wear crocodile shoes for the scene. The live animals were removed and replaced with fakes, and Moore placed on the island. Once the cameras started to roll, some of the fake crocodiles began edging towards the actor.

Chosen answer: One assumes that the card that 'foretold' that Rosie was a double-agent was either sent by Felix Lighter of the FBI/CIA or by Solitaire herself. But, more than likely, it was Bond's faithful sidekick Quarrel, Jr. (the fisherman/boat captain on San Monique).
