Corrected entry: An electromagnet is used to pull a metal lever on the other side of a metal door. The metal door would shield the lever, making this impossible.

Correction: Not so. The door is typically made of stainless steel for this type of environment, durable and easy to clean. And also; not magnetic.

Corrected entry: It is the height of insanity that the underground laboratory does not have an emergency exit; even a top secret government facility would have one. This lab handles highly inflammable and explosive substances and would have a clear and well rehearsed evacuation procedure. Having said that, at the end of the film the survivors of Sebastian's rampage simply open the roof hatch of the lift and climb the ladder that is on one side of the lift shaft. Why didn't they all do that in the first place? Beats getting killed by an invisible, overacting psychotic.

Correction: Why didn't they do that in the first place? What, and leave an invisible overacting psychotic alone down there, all ready to escape and wreak havoc on the world? Yeah, that would be sensible. They stay down there to try to correct the huge mistake that they made, either by talking Sebastian down and curing him or, once that proves to be a non-option, by killing him. They're attempting to take responsibility for their actions - the fact that it doesn't work, leaving them at his mercy, doesn't make their initial decision a mistake.

They were perfectly fine leaving in the beginning :D also just take the glasses climb up, wait for him upstairs to show up and neutralize him since there is only one exit.

Corrected entry: After making Kevin's mask, Elizabeth Shue cuts circles around his eyes by using a scissors, but the circles weren't that perfect. In the next shots, until the end of the movie, they became flawless.

Correction: The next shots of him wearing the mask are several days later (He was shifted for three days, they failed at bringing him back, made the mask and the next time we see him he says he's been shifted for ten days). There's been plenty of time for them to be making fine adjustments to the mask, or for that matter, make more masks.

Corrected entry: Sebastian can see perfectly like anyone else but because he's invisible light would hit his retinas from all directions making him effectively blind.

Correction: According to the movie, the serum "quantum shifts" the user out of other visual light ranges. It puts him out of phase with the people around him. The light isn't passing through him, he is just out of phase with the light.

Corrected entry: When locked in the freezer, why didn't Linda simply yank out a few of the obvious hanging wires behind the refrigeration unit?

Correction: Even if she did do this, given that she's in an airtight refrigeration unit, she'd still be suffering from the cold for a long time. It makes sense that she'd try to figure out a way to escape rather than wasting time tearing out wires.

Corrected entry: Kevin Bacon shouldn't be able to see anything - the cornea refracts light rays to the back of the eyeball to the optic nerve, a central point. If the cornea was invisible, light rays would go straight out the back of his head and he would have no vision.

Correction: The serum "quantum shifts" the user out of others visual light ranges. It puts him out of phase with the people around him. The light isn't passing through him, he is just out of phase with the light.

Corrected entry: When we see Sebastian's saucy neighbour for the first time, she has blinds on the window, but when Sebastian is invisible and he looks at her again, she has curtains.

Correction: Not a mistake, she could have easily changed it herself.

Corrected entry: In the scene where Kevin Bacon is injecting himself with the invisibility serum, you can see that there is air in the tube, and it is injected into his vein. It is lethal to have air in your veins, so he would die within seconds.

Correction: Urban myth, not medical fact. A small amount of air will dissolve perfectly adequately in the bloodstream, and in fact you'd need about 1500cc of air to form a fatal embolism.

Corrected entry: After Sebastian turns invisible, the first thing he complains about is the lights being too bright. The team explains it away by pointing out that his eyelids are transparent, so his eyes are now extremely sensitive to light. However, over the next few scenes, the lights are as bright as before. When Sebastian is complaining to Elisabeth Shue about his condition, he reaches over and turns on a lamp. His face and eyes are pointed directly at the lamp, but it no longer affects him.

Correction: When in the dark for a long time and then subjected to light, the first thing most people do is shield their eyes. Then, over a few moments, they can begin to open their eyes, because their eyes adjust. This is what his eyes did, they adjusted.

Corrected entry: Since the freezer Elizabeth Shue and her boyfriend are locked into have temperatures both ways, why doesn't she just push it up to +50 degrees?

Correction: The Temperature control dial is on the outside of the chiller and it is unlikly it was built with a second dial on the inside as there would be no need for it.

Corrected entry: Before Sebastian tries to escape, he makes nitro-glycerine, but the way he uses isn't real. He mixes sulphuric acid with other compounds, but the REAL way is mixing sulphuric and nitric acids with glycerine on a ice bath (because Nitro-glycerine detonates at 30 ÂșC in presence of nitric acid), and the extracting the nitro-glycerine from the acid. Nitro-glycerine is clear-orange, but there has a strange brown colour.

Correction: If you were a movie maker, would you show millions of people the correct way to easily make a powerful explosive?

Plot hole: Why on earth would the military be interested in a soldier (sailor, aviator, whatever) who has to go into combat naked and unarmed, and who is detectable by an enemy equipped with a pair of cheap, mass-produced goggles? How would you treat them if they were injured? They would be utterly useless in any form of military operation, even espionage.

Suggested correction: Presumably the military are interested because Sebastian's research could lead to advanced forms of invisibility technology, such as the ability to turn materials and weapons invisible for use in combat.

You cannot second guess the film like that. Sebastian is making no effort to make non-living items invisible and throughout the film we see that is not possible (why else would Sebastian have to walk about naked?). His research is on animals (and later humans) not "materials and weapons" and is based on their physiology, anatomy and metabolism. How would you inject a rifle or a tank with a serum? They don't have a bloodstream. The military wouldn't see any value at all in this research - maybe they would be interested in invisibility, but not if it was restricted to living creatures as we see here.

You know how easy it would be for an invisible person to infiltrate an enemy's compound undetected and take out powerful leaders or dictators? Especially if no-one knew the technology existed.

Easy? Impossible. First, they would be naked and unarmed. Too bad if you are trying to knock off Vladimir Putin - a taekwondo black belt - with your bare hands during a Moscow winter! Being invisible doesn't mean you can avoid making a sound or triggering a pressure plate or an infrared detector and so on and so on. Final answer - a naked, unarmed combatant would be about as useful as a chocolate teapot in any form of operation, covert or otherwise.

Janice: What was the clientele like?
Frank: This guy comes up to me and he says: "l like my women like my coffee."
Janice: People still use that line?
Frank: Maybe he meant cold and bitter.
Janice: Very funny.

Trivia: Whenever Sebastian is invisible and interacting with the other characters, Kevin Bacon's voice would be broadcast throughout several speakers randomly hidden throughout the set. This was done to make the reaction more genuine, since the actors would honestly not know where his voice was going to come from next, just as the characters would not know where Sebastian was.

Question: What is the song playing when Kevin Bacon is driving his car? It wasn't "Power Struggle" by Sunna.

Answer: Do you mean the scene where he is invisible, wearing his mask? If so, the song is called Charlie Big Potato by Skunk Anansie.

Answer: I checked the movie's credits (original concept, I know) then I listened to the song in the film and found the lyrics at http://www.letssingit.com/sunna-power-struggle-1bdk7zz.html and http://84210992.home.icq.com/lyrics.html and I can assure you that it was, in fact, "Power Struggle" by Sunna.

Answer: It's actually Skunk Anansie. I know this song from memory and can attest as a fan of the movie and the scene.
