Tell you what, why don't you give us all the make and model of phone which can be turned off, have its battery replaced, and then boot back up again, in 3 seconds. It's not remotely possible on any phone, old or new. Anyone who was using cellphones in the era this phone was made knows it, or indeed now for that matter.
Trivia: "The Silence of the Lambs" director Jonathan Demme was approached to direct and had expressed interest in directing a sequel for some time before the publication of the novel. However, he opted not to return, feeling the novel was too gory and excessive compared to "Silence..." and he didn't feel it would make a good film. Producer Dino de Laurentiis also suggested that Demme was also nervous to make a sequel, given the first film's reputation as potentially one of the greatest films ever made. Other mistake: Clarice handcuffed Hannibal. Apparently Hannibal opted to amputate his own hand, but the next scene shows officers descending on Clarice at the lake shore. Had Hannibal amputated his own hand, she would still have been wearing the other cuff. She wasn't.
Suggested correction: It's not known how much time passed between these two scenes. At least enough for Hannibal to tend to his wound and escape. It's quite possible she found the key during that time.
Revealing mistake: When Pazzi is visiting Hannibal, you can see a group of monks at the top of some steps waiting for their cue - the camera gets closer to them and they all start walking down. (00:48:00)
