The Transporter 2

Continuity mistake: The bomb attached to Frank's car is very close to touching the ground, surely when Frank exited the car park quite swiftly, it would have been ripped off.

Revealing mistake: As Frank is looking at the effects of the virus, a guy jumps him and pulls him through a window. You can tell by the way that they both land that they are jumping onto a covered airbag. (00:51:20)

Thomas Ryder

Continuity mistake: The Audi's W12 logo switches place in the grill in some of the scenes, look when they drive on the beach.

Continuity mistake: When Frank reaches in front of the tire to grab the vile, it's sunny. In the next shot as he's walking back towards his vehicle, it's dark and has started to downpour. This change would not have happened so quickly.

Factual error: When the jet crashes into the water, the amount of force would have just disintegrated the plane instead of having an intact body with wings attached that only had the rear ripped off.

Deliberate mistake: During the chase up the parking building, we can see Frank and Lola, but Jack in the back is barely visible, and when he is, it's quite clear that he was added during post-production or was just a dummy. This is probably due to safety reasons.

Continuity mistake: In the beginning, when the hoodlums are trying to steal Frank's car, in one shot the man getting into the driver's seat is standing outside the car, but in the next shot he is already getting inside, and about to close the door.

Factual error: The Audi A8 that Frank drives is supposed to be an A8L Quattro W12, but the W12 has long, narrow almost flat exhaust pipes, whereas Frank's W12 had smaller round tailpipes, and is missing certain badging on the trunk lid, suggesting it is actually a lesser model, maybe a 4.2 V8 Quattro. Revealing mistake: When Frank is on the Jet Ski with the female, chasing after Dimitri, the red strap on its handlebars (with coiled cord) is suddenly attached to Frank's wrist in a close-up, then it's not again. (00:46:20)

Super Grover

Continuity mistake: When Frank tries to evade the police cars, with Jack and Lola in the car with him, his car's rearview mirror disappears and reappears repeatedly. (00:26:00)

Super Grover

Continuity mistake: Frank and Jack arrive at Audrey's house and Lola enters the Audi. She opens the window and uses her guns. In the following shots the window is sometimes open, sometimes closed.

Continuity mistake: In the plane fight scene before splashdown, the plane was falling and turning/tilting as shown from the outside, but when the scene changes to the inside the fighters are standing straight.

Continuity mistake: Dimitri gets angry at Sonavitch and strikes him across the nose, cutting Sonavitch, and causes him to bleed. The blood only stays on his face, with none of the blood getting on that white lab coat he is wearing. Eventually Frank shows up and throws a knife, which he picks up from a table, into Sonavitch's left leg, as Sonavitch is trying to flee. All of a sudden there is blood on the white lab coat. RLN

Continuity mistake: Some guy puts a bomb under Franks car because they managed to escape, yet when he escapes from the cops (with Lola in the car), the bomb isn't there. A while later when the kid has been dragged out of the car, he looks under it, and sees the bomb's reflection in the floor.

Continuity mistake: When Frank is arriving at the school to pick up Jack at the beginning of the movie it shows him pulling up to the school and there are no other cars parked on that side of the street. When it cuts to show him sitting in the car waiting, there is a car parked behind him. When it cuts to outside again, there is no car behind him.

Continuity mistake: In the car chase after the doctor's, the bomb on the bottom of the car stands out while Frank drives away, but in the chase where you get a lot of low angles the bomb is very obviously gone. Then it appears again when leaving the boat yard / docks ready for the crane scene.

Continuity mistake: During the escape from the police the Audi's headlights switch between being on and off repeatedly.

Continuity mistake: When Frank is on the Jet Ski with the female, chasing after Dimitri, the chipped white paint on the Jet Ski's front hull suddenly has a perfectly painted surface in a couple of close-ups. (00:46:30)

Super Grover

Continuity mistake: When Frank finds Dimitri at his residence, Dimitri is wearing two bracelets - a chunky one (closer to his hand) and a thinner link - on his right wrist. Either both disappear and reappear or one disappears and reappears or they switch positions, such as when he is hanging onto the back of the moving bus. The pinky ring on his left hand also performs a vanishing act. (00:44:25)

Super Grover

Continuity mistake: Frank goes back to building where the pediatrician's office is located, finds the security camera video and snaps the overhead photo of Dimitri looking over his left shoulder to face the camera. When Frank sends the photo to Inspector Tarconi, who is at the US Marshal offices, the photo of Dimitri is entirely different. (00:39:25 - 00:43:05)

Super Grover

Max: Don't worry, baby. You're safe, you're safe, you're so beautiful. You remind me of my yellow poom-poom rider.

Trivia: The scene where the drunkard sees the car go above him and thinks it's just his imagination is a homage to the Bond movies "The Spy Who Loved Me", in which a character has the same reaction when the car drives out of the water, and "For Your Eyes Only", in which that same character has the same reaction when Bond skis overhead.

Question: Why was Frank evading the police after managing to escape the bad guys? Couldn't Audrey tell them that he was on their side?

Answer: The police will just get in the way and slow things down too much. Frank can operate outside of the law and get more done and get it done quicker. Plus, they can't just take Audrey's word for it.
