Trivia: The film is considered one of the biggest cinematic bombs in history. It had a budget of $37 million, but only took in $16 million domestically. George Lucas, who served as an executive producer, disowned the film shortly before its release.

Trivia: In Howard's apartment we see the duck version of Raiders of the Lost Ark, "Breeders of the Lost Stork" from the creators of Beaks (Jaws) and Fowl Wars (Star Wars). This is referencing executive producer George Lucas's work, as well as director/writer William Huyck. Huyck did the screenplay for The Temple of Doom as well as being an uncredited writer for Star Wars.

Trivia: The Rolling Eggs cover has an article titled "Merganser Music." A merganser is a fish eating duck.

Visible crew/equipment: When the Overlord is busy destroying the Diner, when he starts destroying stuff on the counter, you can see the small rods pop up that flip the saucers and glasses into the air. You can also see the compressed air they used, to aid with the effect.
