Continuity mistake: When Stewart discovers Ada tried to send a message to Baines and bursts into the house, the view from inside the house shows a clear day outside. When he drags her out, it's now raining heavily.
Suggested correction: It starts to rain when he is coming back home, you can see the water and hear it. And it was not a clear day, it was morning and there was no sign of sun because the sky was grey.
Continuity mistake: When Baines has his first 'piano lesson' Flora asks to be allowed in. Ada declines, and when she goes back in the house her playing starts immediately when she closes the door, way before she could have walked to the piano and sat down. (00:40:40)
Flora: She says its her piano and she won't have him touch it. He's an oaf. He can't read. He's ignorant.
Stewart: He wants to improve himself. And you'll be able to play it. Teach him how to look after it. You can't go on like this. We're a family now. We all make sacrifices and so will you! You will teach him and I will see to it.
