In the next shot you can see all these items are replaced by similar but yet different items. The grindstone in the next shot are larger than the other. Continuity mistake: During the flashback of the farmer's wife dying, the police officer breaks random things in half to symbolize his wife. When she breaks the taco in half, it breaks all the way, yet, when the shot is seen from behind her, part of the taco is still whole. (00:29:40)

Continuity mistake: Back at Cindy's house when CJ says, "So you're telling me that you can go to bed dead..." you see George holding his hand up by his waist. When it cuts from behind George you see him holding his arm down and lifting it up. (00:38:45)
Answer: It was an alien in a Michael Jackson skin. He shed it and ran off into the bushes.
