X-Men 2
X-Men 2 mistake picture

Revealing mistake: In the scene where Storm and Nightcrawler rush to rescue the children from the holding cell, you see a shot of the cell where the children stand up and say "Listen..." before Nightcrawler teleports inside. If you look carefully, you will see Nightcrawler's silhouette in the shadow against the wall. (01:27:50)

Revealing mistake: Towards the end, when the mutant children are running through the snow, Artie (the green-tongue boy) isn't really bare-foot, he's wearing coverings that protect his feet from the snow. (01:50:20)

Revealing mistake: On the DVD, in the shot where Nightcrawler is hanging upside down while eavesdropping, you can see part of the harness at his waist and part of the wire that is suspending him in the tree. Look near his elbow.

Revealing mistake: In the beginning of the movie when Wolverine puts the cigar out in his hand, you can see the mark of a wedding ring on his ring finger (Hugh Jackman is married). Even if Wolverine got married during the "blurred" bit of his memory so doesn't remember it (tenuous at best), his healing ability would have removed any ring mark. Either way it just doesn't belong. (00:19:50)

Revealing mistake: In the part where Mystique (as Grace) and the guard are in the bathroom, right after the guard drinks the rest of the beer and passes out, Mystique turns him over and you can see the guard move his right leg to steady himself even though he is supposed to be knocked out. (00:47:00)

Revealing mistake: The blue skin coloring is dripping down Nightcrawler's teeth in the scene where he and Storm are talking about his skin scars in the Jet. (00:57:55)

Revealing mistake: In the first shot showing the pins in the guards' grenades being manipulated by Magneto, a thin black cord can be seen pulling them upwards.

Revealing mistake: In the scene where the cat licks Wolverine's claw, if you look closely you can see a shiny drop of clear liquid at the end of the claw, probably something to make the cat want to taste it. (01:40:00)

Revealing mistake: When Storm is admiring Nightcrawler's body art, there's a point at which you can see the color of the actor's skin in the crease of his neck, because he either sweated off his blue makeup in that spot, or the artists didn't apply enough. There's a point toward the end of the movie where you can see Rebecca Stamos' skin in the crease of her neck as well.

Revealing mistake: When the X-Men are leaving the facility at Alkali Lake, they are carrying Professor X because Nightcrawler teleported him. Look closely and you can see Professor X moving his legs back and forth.

Continuity mistake: In the end, when the President is visited by the X-Men, he receives a blue binder, which is laid in front of him on the table. When they have left, you see a shot including the President's desk, and you can see that the only thing he has on the table are some sheets of paper, stapled in the upper left corner, opened up. Then the shot changes to a close-up of the President, and then back again, and you see the blue binder in front of him, closed, and the papers have disappeared. (02:01:40)

Question: Is there a reason for Storm creating a storm when the X-Men talk to the president or is it just to make the scene more "spooky"?

Answer: The president is delivering a live address on television. The storm would make an excuse for the break in the signal.
