The Meaning of Life

Visible crew/equipment: In the Sperm song, when the verse says "Mine, and mine" and the corpse says "Mine", you can see a distorted silhouette of a lighting tripod (It could not be a camera tripod as the camera is in a different angle).

Visible crew/equipment: During the "Find the Fish" scene, during one close up, a camera is very visible in the top right corner of the screen.

Visible crew/equipment: At the end where everybody in Heaven is in the play room, one shot pans past the bare-breasted women in helmets. On the last woman, a camera shadow skims past on the back of her helmet.

Visible crew/equipment: In the scene where the insane sergeant lets all his squad off to see a film at the cinema etc, the microphones are visible under their tight tops. Look at the middle of the chest of anyone who is talking, and there's a lump there, yet it is not there on any of the none-talking soldiers (so it can't be part of the uniform).

Gary O'Reilly

Visible crew/equipment: The third time that Mr. Creosote throws up onto the floor and John Cleese calls for the cleaning woman, the pipe that the fake puke comes out of is visible in front of his mouth. Then it retracts afterwards.

Continuity mistake: When you see the cleaning woman in the Mr. Creosote scene, you see that she has black hair. But in the next scene when she's cleaning up and talking to the waiter, she has grey hair and a blue hat.

Trivia: When the title first appears, it says "Monty Python's Meaning Of Liff," which abruptly changes to "Life" with the title is struck by lightning. Author Douglas Adams (friend of Graham Chapman and occasional Python contributor) contacted Terry Gilliam to ask if he could use the title "The Meaning Of Liff" for a mock dictionary he was writing at about the same time. Adams and the Pythons agreed that the crossover publicity could be mutually beneficial. (00:17:35)
