Corrected entry: When Bernstein is telephoning a source for confirmation, he does so from a small office in the Washington Post. On the wall of the office is a poster of Pete Seeger and Arlo Guthrie, from a concert tour they made after Spiro Agnew resigned (Arlo alludes to this in the recording of the concert). But the movie takes place before Spiro's resignation, one of the last events mentioned on the teletype at the end.

Correction: Agnew's resignation would have happened within the film as depicted. He resigned on October 10, 1973, which falls within the film's timeline between the break-in on July 17, 1972 and Nixon's resignation on August 9, 1974.

Corrected entry: In the scene in Woodward's apartment after Bernstein's interview with the Bookkeeper, where he is getting all his notes on various bits of paper out of his pockets, the first line Bernstein says in this scene is something the Bookkeeper told him in the interview he'd just had, Bernstein said: " In one six day period $6m dollars came in", but that's not what the BK said, she said:".In one TWO day period $6m dollars came in."

Correction: Character mistake.

Continuity mistake: The scene in the film that follows Berstein's interview with the book-keeper, where he is getting all his notes on various bits of paper out of his pockets: there is a Life magazine on the desk in front of Woodward's typewriter. At the start of the shot where Berstein says: "Mitchell, she said something about Mitchell." the mag has gone, then it reappears and disappears randomly in the subsequent shots in this scene.

Harry Rosenfeld: The most powerful man in the United States is President Nixon. You've heard of him? Charles Colson is special counsel to the President. There's a cartoon on his wall. The caption reads, "When you've got 'em by the balls, their hearts and minds will follow."
