SLC Punk! mistake picture

Visible crew/equipment: When Eddie, Stevo, and Bob were getting out of the black car and walking into the liquor store in Wyoming, through the back window of the car you can see a set lamp in the back seat.

Continuity mistake: Throughout the scene where Stevo and Bob say goodbye to Mark, a lock pendant appears and disappears from Stevo's neck chains.

Factual error: When the crew head into Wyoming to buy alcohol, there is a shot of the sign the marks the Wyoming border. That particular design of the sign didn't come into use until after 1993, when Wyoming changed its license plates to that design.

Factual error: The film takes place in 1985, yet at one part in the movie, Stevo, Heroin Bob and Mark steal a white car that is a 1987 Chrysler (Dodge) Reliant K. and drive it into the Salt Lake.

Other mistake: Near the end of the scene when Sean is re-introduced, and Stevo has introduced him to Sandy, in one shot his cigarette is very small and he's about to throw it on the ground. In the next shot he's got a full cigarette and wouldn't have had any time to get a new one.

Factual error: The Wells Fargo Center is visible in multiple shots throughout the film. It was built in 1998, the same year the film was shot. It was certainly not around when the film was set, 1985.

Visible crew/equipment: When Steve-O is talking to his father in the car, at one point a crew member can be seen reflected in the door. He's visible enough that you can see him shift his weight. He appears to be standing next to the camera which is also visible at times.
