Corrected entry: Joey Blonde gets hit in April 1972. Twin Towers were only completed April 1973 but are fully lit as Sheeran goes for the hit. (01:45:11)

Correction: WTC 1&2 were topped out and open to the public by late 1971 although not 100% complete on the inside until 1973.

Corrected entry: When looking at a map, Frank discusses how they will drive up Rt. 476. 476 was not built until the late 1980s.

Correction: Partly wrong. Bill Buffalino's daughter was married in 1975. Frank was shown plotting a travel course from Philadelphia to Detroit. He mentions traveling "476 out of Philly." Route 476 has never touched Philadelphia, ever. Route 476 did exist in the early to mid-70s as a local 2+2 divided highway that connected the Schuylkill Expressway in Montgomery County to the PA Turnpike (Rt 276 East-West.) Route 476 going from Chester/I-95 to the Turnpike didn't exist until the Mid-County Expressway was opened in 1992 and the part that went to Pittston wasn't officially designated I-476 until 1996 (previously Route 9/Northeast Extension).

The first section of I-476 between I-76 and Chemical Road opened to traffic in 1979, while the section between I-95 and MacDade Boulevard opened to traffic in August 1988. The road opened between Chemical Road and Plymouth Road in August 1991, while the final section of I-476 between MacDade Boulevard and I-76 was opened in December 1991. The linkage between Plymouth Road and the Pennsylvania Turnpike at the new Mid-County interchange was opened in December 1992.

Corrected entry: The wood chipper they used to shred a person runs as smooth as an electric engine, or even smoother. Nothing to be heard and no vibrations at all. Plus - isn't it usually attached to a tractor by a PTO shaft?

Correction: The audio is focused on the narration at that point - the background noise is heavily muted so we can hear Frank talking.

Factual error: While handling the ignition coil cable to the distributor cap, Joe Pesci tells De Niro that the timing chain needs adjustment in his truck. A truck of that year with an inline Chevy motor would not have a timing chain at all, instead this truck would be equipped with a direct drive timing gear. Even if it had a timing chain, it would be behind the water pump and a cover. It would have been a several hour job to replace, not possible to adjust it.

Question: I don't quite get how the Hoffa killing plays out. His son is there in the car, Frank and Jimmy go into the house, Frank shoots him, apparently not heard, then leaves the house...doesn't Chuckie Hoffa have questions? Like where his dad is for a start, let alone the gunshots he must have heard?

Jon Sandys

Chosen answer: First off his name was Chuckie O'Brian. Jimmy Hoffa wasn't his biological father, he was more in the nature of a foster father. Second, he probably knew what happened. What was Chuckie going to do? It was a sanctioned hit. And if he went to the police he would have ended up the same as Jimmy Hoffa. They put him in the middle of it to keep him quiet. If he goes after the people who did it, he's as good as dead. If he talks he could end up in jail with them, and the mafia will probably kill him anyway.
