Continuity mistake: In Alice's apartment the clock on the wall has the time as 8:40 when she is standing and kissing David. They have sex and Veronica comes over. Alice and Veronica talk and the clock still shows 8:40. (01:20:00)
Other mistake: During the murder in the stairwell, an old woman opens her apartment door outward, and Varg kicks it shut. Apartment doors always open inward, as did Euronymous' apartment in the same building.
Suggested correction: Euronymous' apartment door opens outward into the hallway, at least in the final scene it does when he's trying to get away from Varg.
Continuity mistake: When Lukas is looking in the bathroom mirror, the upper half of his laceration looks about three times the width of the lower half. When he exits the bathroom, the laceration looks like one line with the same width. (00:15:45)
Continuity mistake: Violet's mom is hot combing her hair at 5 AM; as she performs this operation on the left side, the right side has straight black hair all in front of the shoulder. When Violet tells her that dad is coming, she moves to the right side. Sanaa Lathan's hair now is suddenly all behind the shoulder. (00:05:20)
Continuity mistake: During the tour in the art gallery, Kurt and Elisabeth stop to listen to the tour guide. When the camera cuts to a closer shot of Kurt, a man in a brown jacket and beige sweater vest has suddenly appeared behind Kurt that was not visible in the previous shot. (00:02:05)
Continuity mistake: In the first WW2 flashback the protagonist is handing the various items to the Nazi doorman. When he puts down the pen, he is doing it with a left hand in the table close-up, but he picked it with his right, as the left arm is busy holding the coat. (00:02:05)
Continuity mistake: When the police knocks at the door of Simon's trailer, Jean-Hugues Anglade 's arm changes position between shots as he talks to his daughter.

In the lower left-hand corner, a dark-haired man with a mustache can be seen. Continuity mistake: Abby's annoying boss puts her friend to work giving him a box to carry to his car. In a rather blatant continuity mistake, the penguin is facing opposite directions between shots. (00:03:15)
Continuity mistake: Valeria went to the first meeting with Alberto Rak at his place. In the following scene her mother Amalia enters her apartment bringing breakfast. Between takes Laura Morante picked up the tray from opposite directions, since the coffee cup switched from left to right during her walk from one end of the corridor to the other. (00:10:50)
Audio problem: When Vera is speaking with the surgeon as she is washing her hands, whilst she asks "What happened with Ms Blanco", the camera switches angles mid-sentence to focus on the surgeon, and her mouth cannot be seen moving during the last part of the line. (00:12:55)
Continuity mistake: At night, as Claudia gets into bed with Rory, we see her bare back across the shoulder blades, and no evidence of shoulder straps. In the morning she awakens with surprise at Rory's absence, and she is wearing a top that would have been visible if she'd worn it in the night scene. (01:31:13 - 01:33:00)
Continuity mistake: Ron Perlman and Famke Janssen are having dinner on his supposed birthday. The whole meal has several continuity errors, with her fork being at different heights, sometimes replaced by the wine glass, etc. (00:34:30)
Continuity mistake: The amount of beer in the pitcher INCREASES after Don pours some into his glass. Before he poured, the pitcher was about one-third full. A front view of Don seconds later shows the pitcher about half-full. When Don gets up to leave, the level of beer in the pitcher is down to about one-fourth full (near the lower part of the handle). Factual error: An ambulance is shown. This movie is supposed to take place in a latin country. But the ambulance says "Ambulance" in English, and worse, it also says "Riverside County." Also, the red cross emblems on the attendants' backs say "Comite" in Spanish, "International" in English, and "Geneve" in French. (00:28:55)
Continuity mistake: When Willy is in bed looking at photos with the camera behind his ear, his cup of coffee is directly in front of his hands. A moment later when the camera shifts to in front of him, his coffee is way off to his side, nowhere near his line of sight. (01:00:12)
