Footloose picture

Corrected entry: Ren's car is missing the gas pedal so he attached a rope to his engine that he has to pull on to give his car gas. When he's driving right before he gets his ticket for playing the music too loud, he's pulling on the rope, but when he leaves school and is driving to the warehouse for his angry dance, the rope is gone.

Correction: Ren fixes the gas pedal while he is talking to Willard and Woody about no dancing in Bomont.

The Devil's Double picture

Corrected entry: Much of the movie shows traffic driving on the left, while in reality, traffic drives on the right in Iraq. This is likely due to principal filming done in Malta, which is right hand drive.

rswarrior

Correction: The film is set in both Iraq and Malta, and cars are driving on appropriate side for each scene. In Malta scenes, the Iraqis are driving right hand drive Mercedes with Arabic number plates; if these cars were shipped from Iraq, they would have been LHD.

Drive picture

Corrected entry: In the opening scene where the driver is talking on his phone, the TV is broadcasting a basketball game between the LA Clippers and the Toronto Raptors. Later in the car, the radio broadcast is of a game between the LA Clippers and the Boston Celtics. (00:02:05 - 00:03:35)

Correction: It is the Raptor game on the radio too. They say names like DeRozan, Ed Davis and Jay Triano.

Happy Feet Two picture

Corrected entry: Feather on Mumble in movie looks different from feather from ending of first movie (less fur, small part of yellow feather).

Correction: Mumble was not quite a full adult penguin at the end of the first film. Obviously, the filmmakers made these changes to reflect the passage of time and his full maturity.

Arthur Christmas picture

Corrected entry: At the beginning of the 1900s Coca-Cola advertised Santa as wearing red clothes to match the Cola, before that he was green, so when you see the pictures of early Santa his clothes would have been green instead of red.

Correction: The Coca-Cola Santa advertisements began in 1931 and before that he was wearing red, too - noted in 1927 in the New York Times.

Correction: The word "christ" or, in the original ancient Greek, kristos, was a title meaning anointed one, not a name. Prior to Jesus Christ, the word could apply to anyone considered anointed.

Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Rodrick Rules picture

Corrected entry: If mom and dad found out about the bathroom door that was switched, how come they didn't find out about the writing (Rodrick rules) which was switched to the closet door!?

Correction: The scene of "discovering the closet door" was never shot, so this isn't really a "mistake".

The Thing picture

Corrected entry: In a deleted scene, when they burn Karl, it is obvious that the stuntman is wearing a fake "Karl" mask.

Correction: Which is one of the reasons they deleted the scene. It's like saying one of the actors flubbed their lines in an unused take.

The Grey picture

Corrected entry: When Nelson is walking away from River his shoes are white tennis shoes. A few scenes later, before the wolves, they are black.

Correction: His boots had snow on them, they were not tennis shoes.

Correction: Baker never addresses anyone by "Zack". When Quinto (Peter) rises, he calls him "Peter" and shortly after he does mention "Eric", the former employee. There is a line before Quinto rises where Baker says "what the f*** is his name", so perhaps an edited for television version put in the word Zach or a similarly sounding word.

The Double picture

Corrected entry: Three of the four time-zone wall clocks in the background are set are a quarter to. The clock at the far right is set at a quarter past the hour. (01:07:00)

Correction: This is not necessarily a mistake. There are several locations which use time zones which are offset from most others by 30 minutes - for example India, Sri Lanka and Newfoundland. See https://www.timeanddate.com/time/time-zones-interesting.html.

Puss in Boots picture

Corrected entry: As Puss falls down the beanstalk in a vortex of water he loses his distinctive hat. There is a close-up of him in the water looking hatless and bedraggled. His hat is nowhere to be seen. Yet when he lands on terra firm he is still wearing the headgear, and continues to sport it throughout the rest of the film (apart from when he has to hand it to the prison guard).

timwain

Correction: When Puss is at the end of the vortex and about to fall down the beanstalk, he sees his hat, grabs it, and places it on his head a second before he falls down.

Hanna picture

Corrected entry: In the scene where Hanna is feeling the wind in her hair in the camper, her hair blows back and reveals that her ears are pierced. She would not have been able to have her ears pierced had she lived in the Arctic.

Correction: Why not? My sisters pierced their own ears using a sewing needle, ice and alcohol. All household items, even in the Arctic.

No Strings Attached picture

Corrected entry: When Adam is calling every girl in his phone, he gets visibly drunk. The next morning Emma says he drove over there, which wouldn't make sense because the night before he passed out on the sidewalk and could barley walk.

cupcakes88

Correction: Despite it being illegal, some people do make the irresponsible decision to drive while intoxicated. Even though it is a poor character choice, this is not a movie mistake.

Winnie The Pooh picture

Corrected entry: The chalkboard for Eeyore's tail. Owl writes the word "tail" but spelled with an E and not an I, then later when he goes back to it the word changes to "queue."

Correction: I can't find the scene where the chalkboard was seen with the word 'queue'. What time?

The Eagle picture

Corrected entry: The inconsistency occurs in the scene where Marcus confronts and kills the chief of the Seal People, thus recapturing the Eagle. As he is about to kill the chief, he asks him where he got his father's ring. Up to that point, the only way Marcus could communicate with the British tribes was if Esca interpreted for him. This was indicated in the film by the fact that the Romans spoke English (representing Latin) and the Britons spoke another language, which was subtitled. So as the film sets it up, Marcus and the chief do not speak a common language. Yet in this instance, the chief apparently understands Marcus's question with no problems. And yet, when he gives his answer taunting Marcus about his father's cowardice, he speaks his own language (subtitled) which he knows Marcus does not speak. Indeed, we know Marcus did not understand what he said, as he asks Esca several times afterwards what the chief said about his father. So when did the chief suddenly become able to understand Marcus's language, and if he can actually speak it, why not reply in it when taunting him?

Correction: These are questions, not mistakes. But to answer them; the chief could understand Marcus' language, but not necessarily speak it. My ex wife is Russian, and while I can understand some of what she says when speaking Russian, I can't speak enough Russian myself to make myself understood. The chief could easily have learned the basics of Marcus' language from the other Romans who settled in the region.

I Am Number Four picture

Corrected entry: When John first tries his newly acquired powers out, he is on a cliff and looks down to the rock he's going to back-flip onto. However, in the overhead shot while he is in the air the rock is not visible in the water until he lands on it.

jerimiah

Correction: His body obscures it when he jumps. It's also hard to see it because the water (and the rock) is in the shade BUT it is there.

The Adventures of Tintin: The Secret of the Unicorn picture

Corrected entry: When Tintin picks up Barnaby's newspaper, he looks at the letters and instantly knows what the letters mean, despite there being over 74 anagrams for the letters. There is no mark visible on the paper to show him the order, just the prints.

Correction: Take a close look, you can see that the letters are already in the right order. He just writes them out to make it clearer.

We Bought a Zoo picture

Corrected entry: On July 7, 2010, the day before the zoo is scheduled to re-open, there is a heavy rainstorm and the radio weatherman says there will be rain and lightning for the entire week. The family wakes up at 6:43 the next morning and inexplicably the sun is shining and the sky has no clouds.

Correction: The weather forecast does say it's supposed to rain for the rest of the week, which leads you to believe this. This whole rain part, was just another obstacle everyone had to overcome to open the zoo. Just like real life, weather patterns change.

Fred 2: Night of the Living Fred picture

Corrected entry: When Fred and his dad are heading to the wrestling ring, his dad is called "Dad Figglehorn" by the announcer but the background video shows the name John Cena, who is in fact the wrestler portraying the character.

Correction: It therefore states in the movie that his father IS indeed a famous wrestler. When they say "DAD FIGGLEHORN" that is Fred's dream, not a real scenario.
