Corrected entry: In the scene where Dr. Krieger demonstrates his genetically enhanced soldier to the general, we are shown that their skin can withstand bullets fired from point blank range. Krieger boasts about the skin being able to resist puncture 20 times better than kevlar yet, not even 2 minutes later, the soldier is being sedated with a needle from a medical tranquilizer gun. Granted that the needle is pointy and bullets are somewhat dull but the force needed to pentrate regular kevlar would break the needle. Not to mention the force needed to penetrate something 20 times stronger than kevlar.
Corrected entry: When Ian and the girl are in the trailer, the old couple are watching TV. If you look closely at the TV, it is the main menu of "Sex Drive." When the camera shows the audience what they are really watching, it changes to advertisements. (00:30:35)
Correction: At no point in this entire scene does the TV display the DVD's main menu. The same show is seen throughout.
Corrected entry: When Zack is about to watch 'Granny Panties' on his MacBook, the power in the house is shut off, which makes the MacBook shut off too. Since the MacBook is a laptop, in reality it would just switch to battery power instead of shutting off. (00:26:10)
Correction: Unless the battery was dead. This happened to me a few times when I had a laptop with a faulty battery that wouldn't hold a charge, forcing me to use the AC cord all the time.
Corrected entry: When Max is in Bravura's office, we can hear it raining outside, but just moments later, when Max escapes from Alex's office, it's snowing.
Correction: Which is what happens when the temperature is dropping outside. I used to live in a city where the temperature could drop 25 degrees Celsius within an hour, and go the other way just as fast.
Corrected entry: OK, this is arguably not an error, but here goes: The car Frank drives in 1955 is a brand new (in the year of the film), spotless 1955 Buick Roadmaster, their most expensive, largest 4 door sedan. The car is missing an essential body part that would never be missing from a brand new car: There are no fender skirts.
Correction: Never start a mistake with "This is arguably not an error". If even you aren't sure about it, then you have no business submitting it. In any case, this is not a mistake.
Corrected entry: When Nick, Norah and the band begin their search for Caroline, Lethario/Beefy Guy screams "SEARCH PARTY" as Nick and Norah enter the van. Norah responds by saying "Oh God." but her mouth doesn't move. (00:31:40)
Correction: Your mouth doesn't have to move to say "Oh God". Try it.
Corrected entry: When Carl arrives at his apartment, it says "Allen" (his second name) on the door. However, when he comes out of his apartment later on in the movie, just as his neighbour asks to put up some shelves, the sign is gone.
Correction: This is because his mate moves in and starts living there too.
When his neighbor asks for help with the shelf, he's living alone.
Corrected entry: In the scene where Linda is talking to a health insurance agent on the phone in her office, Ted can be seen in the background sorting through files. In the very next shot, the camera zooms in on Ted, except now he's facing the opposite direction and has no files in his hands. (00:21:05)
Correction: These are two different people. The first person has a full set of hair. Ted is bald on the front part of his head.
Corrected entry: When Alexandra is in the airport the security guard takes out the Purell she has in her suitcase, but when she is about to be saved by Nim she falls out of the boat. The Purell is falling out of her suitcase and she couldn't have bought it anywhere she was at, because she was in such a hurry all the time.
Correction: What got confiscated isn't the Purrell that was in her suitcase, but the Purrell that was in her carry-on. Whatever Purrell was in her suitcase was safe in the hold and not confiscated.
Corrected entry: Early in the film, the girl says, "If you have one more felony, they'll take me away." If he had any felony, he wouldn't be able to vote. Kind of blows the whole film out of the water.
Correction: The basic premise of the movie blows the entire movie out of the water. The President is elected by electoral votes, individual votes do not mean anything. You have to file this under "suspension of disbelief".
Except that in the state of New Mexico, ex-cons are permanently banned from voting. Since both presidential candidates want all of Bud's information, his criminal past would be made available to them and they would also realise the same thing.
Corrected entry: During the wreck on the train tracks scene, Captain Holt speaks with the teenager, Bethany, in the first shot, and there is nobody else in the car with her. As she says "Help me please, I can't get out," you can see the empty passenger seat. In the next shot, it shows her unconscious friend in the passenger seat as Capt. Holt asks Bethany "Where are you hurting?" In the next shot, it goes back to just Bethany in the car, and for the next several shots the friend isn't in the car until Rookie Eric says "Captain, she's alive but not responding". It flips again to just the driver a few shots later.
Correction: The angle of this shot shows the back seat, not the passenger seat where someone is sitting.
Corrected entry: When Ba'al's symbiote is removed it is shown to be a Goa'uld about 15 inches long with a fin on its back and pincers. This is a mature larva ready to take a host. A mature Goa'uld that has already taken a host is a slug-like creature approximately 6 inches long.
Correction: This is backwards. The larva symbiote is pinkish and quite small. The fully grown one is grey, with red eyes, pincers and fins.
Corrected entry: In the opening scene where they are at the bar pretending to pick each other up, "Kate" calls "Brad" Vince, which is neither his character in the film, nor the name of the person he's pretending to be in order to pick up Kate (Daphne in that scene).
Correction: She calls him KENT not Vince.
Corrected entry: When Pinkus is at the Lab with Gwen examining Pepe she notices that the tag is still on his new shirt. That tag is not there in any of the previous scenes.
Correction: The tag, directly under the collar, could have been tucked into the collar, explaining why Dr Pincus didn't notice it, and during the course of leaning down to look at Pepe, and his remains in the canoptic jar, etc., the tag may have loosened enough to fall out from under the collar.
Corrected entry: Cash comes to Queen Latifah for destruction. She opens it and destroys the money, leaves the box empty.That's when Diane Keaton changes the lock. Katie Holmes is then supposed to take it back and for filling up again. While in transit she uses her key , opens the box and throws money into trash. Unless the lock first gets changed in the cash loading place, it is not possible for Katie to steal it. definitely not after queen Latifah shreds them all.
Correction: This is not a plot hole. What actually happens is that Diane Keaton switches the lock while she is cleaning in the cash box holding room. She then tells Katie Holmes the cash box number, Katie then takes that box and uses her key to put the cash in the trash. From there she delivers the box to Queen Latifah who has already gone to the washroom to receive the real lock and box number. Once she unlocks the box she replaces the original lock and continues destroying the cash.
Corrected entry: Almost a dozen microphone shots and one shot showing the lens shade.
Correction: This mistake is way too vague. Resubmit it with more information as to where and when we see some of these mics and the lens shade.
Corrected entry: When Johnie Quid is telling his mate about the warnings on a packet of cigarettes, the warning reads, "Smoking kills." But, as the close-up blurs out, the warning suddenly reads, "Somoking seriously harms you and others around you."
Correction: Cigarette packets have two health warnings on them, one on each side. When you first see the cigarette pack you are viewing it from the back side and it reads "Smoking seriously harms you and others around you", but the second time you see it it reads "Smoking kills". This is because you now see the front of the packet.
Corrected entry: Evan Rachel Wood is billed as Stephanie Robinson, but that can't be her name. The main character's real name - as revealed in the hospital, pharmacy and supermarket - is Robin Ramzinsky. Randy Robinson is his stage name, and Stephanie hates him, so why would she use it?
Correction: Robinson could have been her mother's last name.
Corrected entry: Near the end when the mother finds out the fantasy creatures are real, Mallory gives her the head band with the stone so that she can see the creatures. During the fight the headband disappears but the mother can still see the creatures.
Correction: It is never said that the mother can see the creatures. The only creature she sees is Mulgarath who, by this point, doesn't care if people see him, so he's letting her see him.
Hod squeal spits on the mother than she doesn't need to use the eye glass.
Corrected entry: The B&B seems to be all by itself on the beach because the movie editors edited out the houses south of this particular house. It is actually the first of a row of homes. It is the first house after the nature reserve, but by no means is it the only house.
Correction: It really was the only house there at the time of filming. All of the other houses had been washed away from hurricanes. After the movie, they actually moved the house back off the water to help save it from future storms. And the sand storm in the movie was real. Was shot during a really bad nor'easter.
Correction: And yet, if wearing a Kevlar bulletproof vest, a person is protected from bullets, but not all vests are knife proof. The reason is a bullet has high velocity and spreads the impact over a wider area, being duller than a knife, and the energy is almost immediately dissipated on contact. The knife can pierce the vest easier, because it is pointier, sharper, and can be used with less velocity, but more consistent pressure. The same can be said for a needle.
