Black Christmas picture

Corrected entry: With all the high winds and snowy conditions, there is about a 1 in 1000 chance that when Dana drops the cigarette, it would go perfectly into the small hole.

Correction: Improbably, but not impossible, so it's not a mistake.

Final Destination 3 picture

Corrected entry: In the scene at the warehouse, where Ian and Erin work, Ian is holding a nail gun. When he is lifted up on the forklift he is holding the gun pointed down, but when it cuts to a frontal shot of him, he is holding the gun pointing upwards, in front of his face.

Correction: Just as he reaches the top with the forklift the camera is looking up from his left side you can see him raise the gun up with his right hand.

Lucky Number Slevin picture

Corrected entry: When the Boss's men come to get Slevin, he already has some marks on his face from being punched in the nose. But when he is in the car with the Boss's men (after one of them had broken his nose again), the marks on either side of his nose have gone, but are back when he meets the Boss.

Correction: Those are dimples in the bridge of his nose; if you notice Josh Hartnett has a bulge there. When he moves around you can see the dimples change color or disappear.

Casino Royale picture

Corrected entry: In the final hand of the poker game, everybody is all-in and Bond wins. However, LeChiffre has a greater value of chips, meaning that Bond can only win from each player up the amount he put into the pot. Any money in excess of this should have gone back to Le Chiffre and the game continued between him and Bond. In the movie, Bond wins everything.

Correction: As this was a private game, they may have agreed to this ahead of time. I have played in private games where the standing rule is that if another player has more chips than you in an all in situation and you win, the other player's excess chips are forfeited to prevent the game from dragging on indefintely.

Underworld: Evolution picture

Corrected entry: When Selene was painting on the wall of the prison, when she was a young child the painting was at her eye height. Now when she returns, the painting (although faded by time) is again at eye height but now she is an adult. The painting should be under the water, but would serve no purpose there since the audience could not see it.

Spaceboy_007

Correction: As an adult, the painting is well below Selene's eye level. Her shoulder is at sun-height (at the very least), which is well above either of the younger girls.

Ultraviolet picture

Corrected entry: In the scene where we see Violet and Six leaving Daxus' truck, Six has a jacket on. In the next shot the jacket is gone and neither one of them is carrying it. In the very next shot the jacket is back.

Correction: Actually, they both leave Daxus' truck, he's got the jacket on until they get into the train station. When they enter, his jacket is off, but you cannot see either of his hands (you can see both of Violets) until he raises his right hand and grabs a hold of Violet's arm. He says, "Violet wait, what are we doing?" Still you cannot see his left hand, Violet hands over her credit card and tells him to get them something to eat, he takes it with his right hand and then in exchange he hands over his coat with his left. Meaning he was holding onto the coat the entire time with his left hand.

She's the Man picture

Corrected entry: In the fight scene at the carnival, when the boys first hit the floor you can see that Justin's boxers are black. A few seconds later you see him again and his boxers appear to be white.

Correction: No, those aren't his boxers, the black ones, that is his belt. If you look closely, you can see he has a black belt on and that was what was showing the whole time. His boxers were always white.

Babel picture

Corrected entry: The boys in the desert shoot at the tour bus from its right side, but when Cate Blanchett gets hit by the bullet, it comes through the left-side window she's resting against.

Correction: It could have been a ricochet from one of the hundreds of rocks and boulders lining the road.

A Scanner Darkly picture

Corrected entry: In the last scene in Hank's office, just before his true identity is revealed, his shadow on the wall behind him has long hair although his head in the scramble suit has short hair most of the time and his hair never matches the contour of the shadow.

Correction: The shadow does not show long hair, it just shows the shapeless hood of the scramble suit.

High School Musical picture

Corrected entry: During "Getcha Head in the Game" Right before everyone is about to do the big basketball dance the guy in the background to the left of the screen mouths "I Gotta" while Troy's singing them.

Correction: It's a musical - if people can sing verses after each other in perfect rhythm, then it is possible that the person who was mouthing Troy's words was simply singing along as a possible backing singer.

The Sentinel picture

Corrected entry: When Michael Douglas lets the phone ring in the restaurant in order to distract a Secret Service agent, he quickly slips by. But if the corridor is such a crucial point, an additional Secret Service agent should have been placed there. Even ordinary security companies have any 'vulnerable' position guarded.

Correction: Even though you are correct when you say that even ordinary security companies would have any vulnerable position guarded, this is simply a character mistake by the agent covering that position. The position was supposed to be guarded by the agent Michael Douglas manages to trick. A highly trained security professional should never have been distracted by such an ordinary sound as a phone ringing. Character mistake, not a movie mistake.

The Departed picture

Corrected entry: When Sullivan makes the phone call to Costigan using Queenan's cell phone, he leaves Queenan's blood on the talk button. It's been hours or even days since Queenan's murder, how was the blood still wet?

BillyBlake

Correction: Because the phone was sealed in an air-tight bag.

Barnyard picture

Corrected entry: All the bulls have udders. A physical trait reserved for cows. Even the baby 'boy' emerges with an udder.

Correction: It's a joke.

Civic Duty picture

Corrected entry: Whenever we see a television broadcast of CVV, on the bottom of the TV screen, the headlines are scrolling from left to right. Wouldn't that make it really hard to read?

Correction: At the end of the movie we see that Terry is hallucinating a news broadcast while he's at the group home for the mentally ill. That seems to indicate that the rest of the movie's news broadcasts were all hallucinations. So, Terry was hallucinating the scrolls going the wrong way.

Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest picture

Corrected entry: In the scene with the sword fight on the wheel, the first time Jack Sparrow runs inside the wheel, he hits his head on a metal bar and falls outside of the wheel. He gets back inside the wheel, running again, and the metal bars are gone.

Correction: They are not gone. The bars are above his head, spinning with the axle.

Night at the Museum picture

Corrected entry: During the scene where the civil war guys are fighting, if you look at Sacajawea in the background, she is just a statue.

Correction: Given that this is the beginning of the night, and things in the museum do not all come to life at the same time, (for instance the T-Rex comes alive before anything else), she may be a few minutes away from coming to life.

Saw III picture

Corrected entry: In the "twisting machine" scene, Jeff reaches for a key in a glass box. At the other end of the box is a shotgun, its trigger tied to the string that the key is on. The man removes the key but accidentally triggers the shotgun. The blast only grazes him, but it obliterates the judge standing behind him. Considering where both men were standing, Jeff should have got more of the blast than he did.

Correction: You can see Jeff moving away just in time not to be hit.

The Devil Wears Prada picture

Corrected entry: In the last scene with Miranda, she enters her car from the left side, but is immediately seated in the right seat. There is no time for her to switch sides once she gets into the car. Nor is there any apparent reason why she would scoot from one side of the back seat to the other. (01:44:15)

Correction: There's enough time between shots for Miranda to have scooted from one side of the backseat to the other. She probably did this in order to get a better look at Andy standing across the street.

The Prestige picture

Corrected entry: Julia dies in the underwater escape trick tank because the axe couldn't get her out in time. However, if she was able to open the lid from inside the tank, get up, over, and down, then close the lid (all quickly, silently, and without assistance) when the trick goes properly, then there is no reason that the four men standing around could not have simply lifted the lid, either acting a key in the fake padlock to preserve the trick, or using a key if it's real. At this point she could have gotten her head above water and draped her hands over the side of the tank to stay up. That done, the crisis is over, and she must only wait to calm down enough to get herself down, or be assisted. Cutter built the tank, so he knew how strong the glass was. The only explanation for using the axe was to allow Julia's death, thus advancing the plot.

Correction: You can imagine a number of things. First of all, even if they were able to unlock the lid how would they get it open? You need to get high enough to be able to open it, can't do that hanging from the side of the case. She is lifted into it by chains so there is no ladder to get up there easily. It's also possible only she can open the lid from the inside. Secondly I'm sure the idea is they had tested the glass and found an axe to be sufficient to break it in time. The problem for her of course is that she is under for a minute before anyone realise there is something wrong and she hasn't got the ability to get her head above the water since her hands are tied, there is also nothing to hold on to. You can see Angiers being indecisive about what to do, he is putting most faith on Cutter breaking the glass in time. They are all basically stunned from what is happening.

X-Men 3 picture

Corrected entry: In the forest of the Brotherhood, when Wolverine first extends his claws, the sleeve of his leather jacket can be seen above his fist. Despite the fact that he never is seen taking it off, he is only wearing a tank top a second later.

Correction: That's not his leather jacket's sleeve. That's his wrist band.
