Factual error: Near the end of the movie, Raul is telling the hunter to not kill the tigers. Throughout the scene, you can hear a bird call. The bird is a grebe. Grebes do not live in the jungle- they are only found near large bodies of water.
Continuity mistake: When the group goes to the diner after their first class, When Bobby takes off her hair piece clip and puts it back on, at first it's smooth then when the shot changes, it's all messed up.
Factual error: A headline from the Pantagraph (an Illinois newspaper) dated 19 December 2001, is shown in big letters to read, "Latest Florida recount shows Gore won election." In fact, no edition of the Pentagraph has ever featured an article that claimed this. The only time those words appeared in that newspaper was in small print over a letter to the editor dated 5 December 2001.
Continuity mistake: After the sergeant has a parasite bug forced into her, she grabs a syringe kit left on the table by the medic. When she flips it open, there are 7 (maybe 8 at most) syringes in the kit (the last one is broken). A few moments later, private Sandee follows a trail of syringes left on the ground to the sergeant. There are at least 7 syringes on the ground, and 3 others in the sergeant's thigh.
Continuity mistake: During a discussion between Lucy and Amy about a half hour into the movie the hair on Lucy's forehead alternates between two different positions several times.
Continuity mistake: Ashley Judd is sitting in a bar with Andy Garcia when an ex boyfriend walks in. She says to Andy, "I do not get involved with ex-boyfriends." During that line the camera is to her left and she is holding a drink almost to her mouth. While she says the word "involved," the camera switches to her right side and she is not holding a drink. Revealing mistake: In the rain scene approximately 25 minutes into the movie a man is talking to a woman in a very heavy rain. His shirt has very little rain on it and a large part stays completely dry. The dry side is on the side where the rain is coming from.
Continuity mistake: In the scene where Sylvia is searching for clothes to suit her "new" attitude, she pulls a pair of underpants off a clothes line and tries them on. We see that she is wearing white underpants, then when she later puts the skirt from the charity bin on, her underwear is black. At no time does she get black underpants from anywhere.
Deliberate mistake: After the killer nails Shannon to the ceiling, he apparently has time to remove all the nails from the wall where he originally shot her, spackle, paint and clean up all the blood before the police arrive and examine the apartment.
Other mistake: In the beginning of the film, letters on the screen describe the lady as the "Musican's Wife" It should be "Musician's Wife. "Musician's" is misspelled.
Continuity mistake: When Kirstie Alley is having a breakdown on the news set, the arrangement of the yellow papers next to her changes between shots.
Continuity mistake: When Damien is being chased by the Yellow BMW, and leaps out of the way using the side of the pick up, the yellow BMW crashes into the side of it. However, you see the same car without a scratch on it, a minute or so later, when Damien and Leito are cornered.
Visible crew/equipment: After making love with William in the bedroom upstairs, Annabelle is sitting on the bed. The closet door creaks open and you can see an arm holding a stick move back into the closet after pushing the door open. It is visible just to the left of the chair by the closet door. Factual error: When the pilots are over the Gulf of Mexico right before the oil rig is destroyed, one of them reports that the surface pressure is 93 millibars. That's the wrong order of magnitude for a surface pressure reading. Standard atmospheric pressure is 1000 millibars, or 1 bar. During the very worst hurricanes, surface pressure can drop slightly below 900 millibars. So the pressure reading here probably should have been 930 millibars, not 93.
Plot hole: During the end of the film chase scene, Agent Mackelway calls Agent Kulok and gives her a vague location of where they are and asks for back up. Considering Mackelway had been kidnapped and driven out into the country, it should have taken Kulok much longer to arrive at the scene instead of the few minutes that are indicated.
Continuity mistake: After the love scene with Penelopa, Frankie sits down on the chair wearing a green shirt. In the next shot he is wearing a blue bathrobe.
Continuity mistake: At the beginning, when John Travolta leaves the bar he is wearing a flip flop on his right foot and a regular shoe on the left. However when he is walking in front of the cemetery the shoes switch feet; regular shoe on the right, flip flop on the left.
Continuity mistake: In the car chase scene with Deunan and Hitomi, the chasing car crashes into a water melon sales stand. The car is splattered with water melon pieces and goo. The camera then cuts to Deunan and Hitomi and back, and the chasing car is clean again.
Continuity mistake: While in the parking lot you can see Connie and Carla entirely when shot from the front. When they run away the gap they were looking through is so small only their faces would have been visible from the front. In addition the wall when shown from the front comes only up to their stomachs, but when they run way the wall is higher than they are. (00:05:40)
Visible crew/equipment: During the escape, Aeryn comments that there are too many fresh boot prints and they're not alone, then a few shots later after D'Argo shouts, "Get back! Get back!," in the next shot the springboard can be seen propelling a Peacekeeper stuntman.
