Crossfire Trail picture

Corrected entry: When Bo Dorn enters Barkow's office to discuss eliminating Rafe, Barkow closes the doors and sets a sliding latch at the top. Dorn gives his ultimatum, and opens the door - somehow that latch released itself.

Correction: It is a double door. Barkow latches the right hand door. Dorn exits through the left.

Max Keeble's Big Move picture

Corrected entry: Max is covered in dirt after what Troy McGinty did to him, but when he goes to the sprinkler you can see that Max is already half clean.

Correction: The dirt that covered Max Keeble was more dust that dirt, so after walking to the sprinkler its possible some came off, then Max would just clean the rest off with the sprinklers.

I Am Sam picture

Corrected entry: When Sam and the visitors wait for Lucy at her birthday party, Brad is told to switch the light off. He pulls the switch but the light doesn't change. (00:29:55)

NancyFelix

Correction: That's because it's broad daylight outside, and there is a lot of light coming through the windows. There was no need for Brad to switch off any light, but to these mentally challenged people switching off the lights is part of what you're "supposed" to do at a surprise party, and they would not want to do anything wrong.

Amelie picture

Corrected entry: The beginning of the film is set in the 1970s. When the narrator says that Amelie's mom likes watching figure skating costumes on TV, a clip is shown of Rudy Galindo, a 1990s American skater. (00:04:30)

Correction: That's not necessarily a mistake. Just because Amélie's mother died in the 70s doesn't mean the filmmakers can't use a 90s skater to show US an example for her liking of the costumes. It doesn't mean that this clip was being show in the 70's!

Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within picture

Corrected entry: When the Zeus is overheating and explodes, there's some obviously added-in explosion noises. But there's no sound in space, no matter how big the explosion.

Correction: This is a deliberate omission, typical for space scenes. Compare Star Wars. Or Star Trek. Or any space movie.

A Beautiful Mind picture

Corrected entry: The real John Nash was married multiple times, had a child out of wedlock (in his twenties), and had numerous hetero- and homosexual affairs. All this information has been removed for dramatic purposes.

Correction: This movie was never presented as a documentary, but merely "based on a true story". The ommision of specific details for dramatic purposes is a common technique for fictionalized movies.

Donnie Darko picture

Corrected entry: When Rose Darko is talking to her friend about Jim Cunningham, her friend says "I can't believe he's single" But when Jim Cunningham is speaking at Donnie's school on the "Fear and Love" program, 'Patrick Swayze' is wearing his "wedding" ring.

Jazetopher

Correction: Some people still wear wedding rings even after they divorce. People do it for a variety of reasons.

Sugar & Spice picture

Corrected entry: When the girls are in the doctor's office and they are looking at the ultrasound picture of the baby, wouldn't it be hard for the untrained eye to see that there are two heads?

Correction: Depending on the position of the two fetal heads, it is entirely possible for an untrained eye to actually see the two heads during a prenatal ultrasound scan, without the technician's or doctor's assistance.

From Hell picture

Corrected entry: At the end of the film when Abberline dies from an opium overdose, Godley puts two coins on his eyes. In the next shot, the coins are gone, and are back again in the final shot.

Correction: The coins are there the whole time. In the second shot it is difficult to see because of the distance and camera angle, but you can make out a coin on Abberline's right eye.

The Glass House picture

Corrected entry: When Ruby steals the car at night, she passes through the glass gate breaking it. Later on the film (the next day) we can see that the glass gate is intact.

Correction: Since we don't know how early or late Ruby wakes up, nor do we know what time Terry returns, it is possible that a man with his sort of connections and money-spending habits to have his glass gate fixed in less than a day. It also makes sense that he would get it fixed as soon as possible because he and his wife try to cover up everything unusual in their lives, in case there is someone watching or another unsuspected visit.

Correction: It wasn't the next day. She had been passed out for some time because they were drugging her. They even ran out of medication. Her brother lays beside her and says 'all you do is sleep and it scares me." If she had only slept until the next day, I'm sure her brother wouldn't have made that comment.

The Wedding Planner picture

Corrected entry: In the scene that Penny goes to get Mary at Steve's office (after the dumpster scare) she goes in the room, invites him to the movie, and as she tries to make their getaway she grabs a coat off the coat hanger in his office. She didn't come in with a coat.

Correction: I've always thought the coat belonged to Steve and she grabbed it for him.

The Score picture

Corrected entry: It would be impossible for Robert DeNiro to blow the door off of the safe in the fashion he has chosen. Safe doors are secondarily unlocked (after the combination is presented) by turning an exterior handle that release the bolts that secure the door when it's closed. Because this mechanism was not engaged, and the bolts were not released, the door is still in its strongest state. And the bolts are not apparent on the removed door that falls to the floor, nor is the special glass insert that makes the safe door undrillable.

Correction: Why would it be impossible? No matter how well made the bolt system is, the door is still the weakest part of any safe. When DeNiro's character set the dynamite off inside the safe, that pressure needed to go somewhere so it blew off the door.(The hole in the top was not large enough to discharge the pressure quickly enough.).

Captain Corelli's Mandolin picture

Corrected entry: Where did they get right hand drive vehicles from? In one scene they are driving right hand drive service trucks.

Correction: They could have been driving one of the many thousands of captured trucks that the British abandoned in France, Greece or North Africa prior to the period shown in the film.

Birthday Girl picture

Corrected entry: When John goes to pick up Nadia at the airport the announcement over the airport's PA system says that passengers are disembarking from Gate 7 however, this part of the movie was filmed at Sydney Airport where the arrival gates are labelled alphabetically and the sign above the arrival gate says "Arrivals D". (00:03:40)

Correction: The airport was supposedly in Britain, as such it would probably not use the same numbering system as Sydney. Also, the arrivals area "D" may be just the terminal, with the gates numbered. So, in Terminal D, the announcement would be made for arrivals at Gate 7. Pearson International Airport, in Toronto, Canada, for example, has 3 terminals, 1,2 and 3, with alphabetical sections, and numbered gates. It is possible to be in Terminal 3, Arrivals "C", and gate 37 or similar.

Spy Kids picture

Corrected entry: When Juni drops down into the hallway with 'fooglie agents' chained up, and 'thumb thumbs' guarding, he says to an agent: 'Where's my mom and dad?'. The fooglie understands what he says and replies backwards. Later when they leave that area, Juni says:'sknaht' (Thanks said backwards), The fooglies nod as if they understand. Do they understand backward and forward words?

Correction: They probably understood "mom" and "dad", as those words are the same forward and backwards.

Corrected entry: When Freddy comes back and hangs up Daryl's phone and asks him if he was talking to Mcgredy he says "He probably told you I was on a 5150 nah its a 1718 I don't even know what it is." Later when they are outside Minty's house he says "They put me on a 5150 because I give a damn." I thought he said it was a 1718?

The Man Who Wasn't There picture

Corrected entry: When Big Dave finds and kills the Dry Cleaner con man,why doesn't he find his $10,000? The police later arrest Ed Crane after finding the dead con man and his papers, bearing Ed's name, so where was the cash?

Correction: When the police arrest Ed, Ed (narrating) says that they found the papers with his name, bur they never found the cash. That makes us conclude that the Dry Cleaner man had the money hidden, saved. He stole the money from Ed, so he had to keep it safe. That's why nobody found it.

Knockaround Guys picture

Corrected entry: In the scene where Dennis Hopper is playing hand-ball, Berry Pepper delivers a package to him. Hopper in return gives him $200 dollars. Pepper puts the money in his pocket. At the end of the scene when Pepper get up off the bench to leave you can see the money fall out of his pocket.

Correction: That is not necessarily a mistake. It happens all the time in real life, why can't it happen in a movie?

Bully picture

Corrected entry: This film is supposed to take place in 1993, yet Marty is watching TV at one point in the movie, and he's watching a music video with Eminem.

Correction: Although the event happen in 1993, director Larry Clark said he placed the movie as if it happened in 2001. So that is why they are watching Eminem on video and has his poster on the wall.
