Other mistake: When Hambleton comes across the hooch where he gets attacked, upon spotting the hooch he racks the slide on his 1911, loading a round in to the chamber. When he is fighting the villager he racks the slide again to load his pistol.
Other mistake: When Regine becomes the new host of Fright Night, she appears on video monitors and Peter Vincent is watching her on TV while in a bar. Cameras use mirrors, so she shouldn't have appeared on the monitors or on the television at all.
Suggested correction: Most cameras don't use mirrors. Only DSLR/SLR cameras do, which allows you to use a viewfinder. Other cameras, camcorders, and television cameras don't need mirrors.
Other mistake: Watch when Carol is singing "Oh Come All Ye Faithful," as she walks down the line of on-lookers, an extra in the back moves along with her and keeps looking at the camera.
Other mistake: Christina suggests that they have found Atlantis. However, they start in Hawaii, which is in the Pacific. The general consensus is the Atlantis is in the Atlantic (or Mediterranean) and not the Pacific. Some people do suggest that the lost continent of Mu is in the Pacific.
Visible crew/equipment: When Guarino is being taken away by The Hunter, you can see the rope used to pull him in the upper right corner of the screen. (00:46:05)
Factual error: The events in the film take place in mid-1929, as evidenced by the first Academy Awards being presented in May. However, Wyatt Earp went to the happy hunting grounds in January of that year.
Factual error: The Los Angeles cops pursuing Lulu, Peaches, and Darlene in Mexico couldn't arrest them due to this being a foreign country where they wouldn't have jurisdiction.
Continuity mistake: Clearly a different guy playing Zack in the beginning as he looks to be over six feet tall and has a full head of combed back brown hair. Zack later on looks like he's only 5'5" with receding brown hair.
Plot hole: At Tim's funeral, Olivia's attorney tells her that Tim had himself removed from Olivia's Last Will and Testament, proving he loved her and didn't want her money. However, an attorney could not legally change a client's Will without that person's knowledge and drafting a revised version.
Suggested correction: Not true. Anyone can have themselves removed as a beneficiary of a will. This is done by signing an Affidavit of Disclaimer of Inheritance at such time as someone becomes aware that they have been included in a will as a beneficiary. This is what Tim meant when he said he had removed himself from Olivia's will.
Revealing mistake: When one character's killed, stomach sliced open, you can see the wire yanking open the prop stomach to the left of the camera.
Revealing mistake: When Jemma enters the headshrinker's laboratory, there is a table with three heads on it each encased in glass. When it goes in close-up on the middle head, you can see that the table has a hole where the actor can slip in his head.
Factual error: The movie presents the location of Qumran as a tourist destination with intensive excavations. In 1937, Qumran was definitely not a tourist spot; it was not unknown, but the name value of the area was established only after the discovery of the Dead Sea Scrolls a decade later.
Other mistake: When translating Dutch for English, one translation uses "their" when it should've been "there." It's in the scene when we first see the lead cop talking to his daughter.
Revealing mistake: In the scene where Zuckerman is thrown to the floor in the gym and handcuffed, you can hear the handcuff ratchet click as it's placed and closed on her wrist. As the other agent moves away, you can see that the handcuff is open and not actually closed around her wrist. (00:31:00 - 00:31:50)
Continuity mistake: When the condo manager shows up at Billy's house to take Purple, and chases him round the garage, some stuff, including a white plastic basket, falls off a shelf twice; first in the wide shot, then again in a closeup of Purple's feet.
Continuity mistake: Dan is talking to Barry about how he is the boss. In one shot, Barry is looking down with his eyes wide open. In the next immediate shot, which is wider, his eyes are closed.
Visible crew/equipment: When Nicolas Cage returns to his apartment, you can see a crew member reflected in the mirror on the wall right after Cage passes in front of it. (00:11:35)
Character mistake: Kathy Ireland as Wanda speaks mostly in a slightly squeaky voice. But in one scene she uses her own regular voice.
Audio problem: When in the bar before being put in the cell, Dolph grabs a gun from an MP and starts shooting up the bar. The sound of gunfire starts a split-second before he starts shooting.
