Continuity mistake: When the mouse (hidden in a vase) tiptoes on the table at the start of the short, the bread on the plate is initially pointing up, but in the next shot it is pointing down.
Continuity mistake: In this first Mr. Magoo animated short, Waldo is playing a four-string banjo. Throughout the cartoon, the number of strings keeps changing. Sometimes there are three and sometimes there are only two.

In the very first wide shot of the pool, Esther Williams is fitting her cap getting ready to compete. Continuity mistake: When the millionaire is addressing Spike and Droopy at the beginning of the cartoon, you can see his briefcase is at the right hand corner of the table. In the next shot, the briefcase is now in front of the millionaire.
Continuity mistake: When Bugs Bunny is sitting on the roof at the start of the concert, you can see there is nothing beside him, but just a couple of seconds later a mallet appears out of nowhere.
Continuity mistake: When Junior is reading the back page of his father's newspaper during breakfast at the start of the cartoon, the page has "Bugs Bunny Comics" at the top of it, but when Papa Bear puts his hand through the newspaper to hit Junior and tell him to eat his oatmeal, the page now just says "Comics".
Continuity mistake: After Tom has torn up Jerry's diary, you can see that the pie is next the hole of Jerry's home, but when Jerry comes around the corner and sees Tom, the pie is now positioned near Tom's foot.
