Revealing mistake: In the barber shop scene at the end of the film, Agent Anderson terrorises Deputy Sheriff Pell (who has a full head of hair) with a razor blade. Anderson throws him across the room, but the person being thrown across the room has a mostly bald head.
Visible crew/equipment: When Max meets a man in a car who invites him to jump in, they go to the place where Natasha was killed. When the car drives in the alley and we see it from the top of the building (the camera angle), the camera filming them is visible in the reflection on the car's roof (it's mounted on a rod hanging high above the alley). Continuity mistake: When McLeach is using Cody to fish for crocodiles, the hook fastened to the rope around Cody's waist can be seen facing different directions in various shots. (01:06:45 - 01:09:35)
Continuity mistake: At the press conference, McArthur is going full "no comment" about pretty much anything. A grim Alex Cross is standing there. Next to him are the senator's wife and the senator. At the cut the senator disappears, leaving just the wife and the FBI agent. (01:11:10)
Continuity mistake: Sydney gives her phone to Liv at the prep rally to film her first dare. The case has a very distinctive blue furry case. However in one shot of Liv filming Sydney, it has a black and white case. This cannot be anyone else filming as it shows Liv's arm. Also the nail polish changes color. (00:07:20)
Continuity mistake: When Patrizia paints her phone number on the scooter's windshield the numbers change between shots, check the 5 for example.
Continuity mistake: When escaping in the minefield, Dom's car gets bullet holes in the bonnet. When we see the car after Roman has escaped his truck landing on the landmine, the bullet holes have disappeared. (00:16:20 - 00:20:50)

Revealing mistake: In the train scene if you look closely at Vincent's ear as he steps off the train ready to shoot Max and Annie, it looks like he has an earpiece or some kind of small blood pack in his ear. (01:44:05)
Continuity mistake: When Bill Lumbergh pulls into his parking space at Initech, the sign reads "Reserved for Bill Lumbergh, Division V.P." When Peter later pulls into the same space the sign only reads "Reserved for Bill Lumbergh." (00:02:50 - 00:41:05)
Continuity mistake: When Max and Joey take a picture at Luigi's house, Joey is looking at the camera and not smiling while Max's hand is just below Joey's right ear, getting ready to grab it. Visible crew/equipment: When Salma Hayek is tossing the bullet she has just removed from Antonio Bandaras's shoulder, you can see the reflection of Robert Rodriguez holding the film camera on the metal dish.
Continuity mistake: At the very beginning, when Quaid has finished showering and is picking his phone, wallet, badge, keys, etc, there is a shot of his hand as it is picking up his cellphone. Cut to a wide shot of him and the objects have moved. For example, the coins have become a close cluster, his pack of cigarettes is no longer on the newspaper, and his badge has switched places with the lighter. (00:02:45)
Continuity mistake: When Celine is tied up playing blackjack, the position of the rope holding her varies. We see for example that the number of times the rope crosses her chest goes from three to four and back again.
Continuity mistake: As Beavis and Butt-head are dancing in the casino the floor is just flat and one surface. In the overhead shot of them dancing you can see part of the floor has changed to an tiled area instead of a plain flat surface. Also there are a number of people sitting at tables just in front of them whilst dancing. In the overhead shot they and the tables have disappeared. (00:21:30)
Continuity mistake: During the scene where Fletch is at the hospital trying to locate Stanwyk's medical records, he drops lots of files on the floor and asks a nurse to sort them out. When he is talking to her he has a stethoscope in his ears, but when the camera moves behind him they are suddenly round his neck. Moments later they are back in his ears. (00:18:10)
Revealing mistake: When Gittes visits the orange grove and crashes into the tree, you can see that a steel plate has been placed around the tree to protect it.
Suggested correction: He could, in fact have an earpiece/hearing aid in place, and what with the wild night he's been having, the accident and all, a blood pack is not out of place either.
