Final Destination 5

Peter, having learned that killing someone destined to live will remove him from death's list, attempts to kill Molly and shoots Agent Block dead before he is killed by Sam. Two weeks later, Sam and Molly board the flight to Paris so Sam can take up his culinary apprenticeship... And at this point it's revealed this film is actually a prequel, and the flight is the same Flight 180 from the first film. Having seen the scuffle that got Alex and company kicked off the plane, Sam realises too late what is about to happen. Molly is killed when she is sucked out of the plane, and Sam dies when the plane explodes. Nathan learns that the co-worker he accidentally killed was about to die from a brain aneurysm anyway, seconds before he is crushed by Flight 180's destroyed engine.

Continuity mistake: In the premonition right near the end, you see the truck hanging over the bridge and that is how the poles and that sheet of metal kill two of the main characters. Yet when they run to the end of the bridge, the truck is not hanging over the edge.

Trivia: Roy's racecar in the photos of him on the bar at the end is the same car that causes the crash in FD4 - you can see it in the end credits rerun of prior film scenes.

Upvote valid corrections to help move entries into the corrections section.

Suggested correction: While it is the same vehicle from the previous film, it is not Roy's racecar. He is a plant worker and merely posing with the same car as a fan.

Which would still make it a trivia connection.

Question: Throughout the whole film series, how is it that Bludsworth knows how to cheat Death and if the main characters are supposed to die, then why does he tell them how to do it?

Answer: Bludsworth's backstory has never been addressed in the series. He seems to have an intimate understanding of the supernatural nature of death but how he knows this is never explained. Why he gives the characters advice is also never explained, however he seems to be legitimately interested in whether or not the characters will succeed in cheating death because it seems to be impossible.
