The Chairman stole the DC-Mini and is behind the terrorist attacks. Dr. Chiba reveals that she's in love with Dr. Tokita. Detective Konakawa realizes that he feels guilt at having betrayed an old filmmaker friends of his years ago, finally overcoming his inner repression. The dream world and real world merge. The Chairman becomes a giant and destroys buildings but is eaten by his metaphysical opposite. Dr. Chiba and Dr. Tokita marry and Paprika recommends Konakawa watch a movie called "Dream Kids."
