Night of the Living Dead ending / spoiler
Everyone is killed except for Ben. Ironically, he ends up surviving by locking himself in the basement that he was so against. He sleeps in the basement and in the morning he comes out. He is mistaken for a zombie and shot by a group of people killing the zombies.
