An Ideal Husband (1999) plot summary
Robert Chiltern has a flawless reputation until an old flame of his good friend, Arthur Goring, comes to town (Mrs. Cheevely). She tells him that she will tell everyone his darkest secret if he does not support the Argentine Scheme in which she has invested largely.
