Deja Vu ending / spoiler
Doug Carlin realises his been leaving clues from the past in the future, so he must've found away to use the spacefolding technology to go back in time, his experiment is a succsess and he goes back and prevents the bombing and saves Claire Kuchever from being killed by Carroll Oerstadt. Seeing his bombing plan has been spoiled, Carroll opts for a shooting spree but is gunned down by Doug Carlin. As he dies however, Carroll, starts the timer for his explosives, since it's rigged to blow, Doug is left with no other choice but to drive the SUV contaning the device into the ocean, where it detonates, with him along with it.
